The infrastructure is way behind the growth & probably will never catch up. Just doesn’t see like they want to get ahead of the game.

Try Living in Bentonville without a car for a month. Buy Groceries. Go to work. Try to take the bus in the horendous traffic, and go to the city council meetings. Probably not very fun unless you live downtown.

Good points. Little to No public transit. However many ppl I know have jobs, work, life without a car and use an e-bike, onewheeel, or simple bicycle to go do their errands. Go Much farther out of downtown…agree..you need a car or transport of your own.

What are the top 5 cities in NWA that will have the most economic growth over the next 5 years? I would guess Bentonville would be no.1, so what are the other four?

Phenomenal Question and thank you for asking! So many surrounding towns are about to explode due to the fact that towns like Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville (the big 4) are becoming less "affordable", and more densely populated. There's no doubt that Bentonville will continue to grow and innovate anywhere possible and westward expansion toward the airport is well underway for residential home growth. However, the towns I would be keeping my eye on for large economic growth from where they currently are in the next 5 years would be the entire region of Lincoln/Farmington/Prairie Grove as one area , Elkins, Elm Springs, Cave Springs, and Pea Ridge to round out your top 5. That is, if you'll allow the first 3 to be bundled together. Honorable mention would be Centerton as it is developing from a bedroom community into its own. Since the schools there are part of the highly regarded Bentonville school system and homes there are a bit more affordable than Bentonville proper, I see significant growth there as well. Especially since the Bella Vista Bypass (Hwy 49) has allowed easy access to the north side of Centerton off of Hwy's 72 and 279. Speaking of roads, with the completion of HWY 612 bypassing Springdale in the near future this may encourage more growth in the Elm Springs/Tontitown area along 412 out toward Siloam Springs. One thing is for sure, the continued growth of the entire region will be hindered by the expediency of city planning and funds to have infrastructure such as roads, utilities, services, and permitting amongst other things keep up with population influx.
      What else? :)
