The Japanese judicial system is an absolute mess. It’s truly unbelievable. Have had several run-ins with the judicial system from drifting in japan, and have learned a lot about how the system there works. Japan is somewhere you need to be so so so careful. Racking is one of those things that just isnt worth the risk, but most foreigners just don’t know that. A close friend visiting me served 14 months for stealing a single Onigiri from a convenience store, and i have had friends serve several month long sentences for “automotive related gang activity” for simply having drift cars with the same stickers on the windows as people who have been previously caught for street drifting. It’s a scary system
You on that Tokyo drift type time homie hahaha respect. I got a soft spot for JDM cars and racing but drifting is something I can’t do (or atleast haven’t full blown tried to do it other than fucking around) but got mad respect for people who do it legit.
Did 1 month in Japan for doing a tag on a stop sign only reason they caught me is cause they followed me to my air bnb, they are pretty smart out there I was lucky I only did one fucken tag or else they would of just ran my tab up

Don’t underestimate 1312 you never get to see any info on confidential informants or snitches as a civilian aka their penmanship .If graffiti was a real crime the heavy hitters are too documented .My own experience is there are more people doing it that are easily pressed than not this isn’t MOB shit.
They don’t take theft lightly their either. There is another really well known graffiti writer who got busted in Japan too(might have been 3 people now that I think about it). Apparently the only reason they got busted for the graffiti was because they stole some markers and there is so many cameras in Japan that the cops just tracked them from the store to where they got busted at. I think they had to do 6 months too, but I think it was just jail, not prison. Anyway, yeah they said that jail was way really strict.
