Very powerful message! I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately as I’ve been getting super anxious and shaky when speaking or performing in front of a lot of people. What’s been helping me feel less anxious about it is telling myself that it doesn’t matter if people see that I look or sound nervous. They might think less of me because this but who cares? They don’t know me. They just met me. I know I’m competent. I’ve proven it to myself through training, practice, and experience. And I know who God says I am: wonderfully and beautifully made. So I don’t need to feel scared of showing people that I look and sound nervous. I don’t need to care about what they think. And if I truly don’t care about what they think, then I won’t feel scared in front of people at all anymore. It’s all a circle and it starts with letting go of the approval of others and seeking the approval of God. With him there is freedom, opportunity, peace, and joy!

The entire city of Salem, Or has turned their backs on me since my move to Los Angeles. I will not be moved. I didn't need their approval to move here. Christ brought me here and Jesus will deliver me to the next level. Oregon would of lived to have me stay there and continue my complacency and decline. But it wasn't up to them. It was up to me & Jesus Christ!!

This is all so good and positive. Why do so any protestant sects hate Reverend Ostend and Hillsong and Bethel so much? I feel His presence and I know that it's the presence of the Lord. And Joel Osteen!
I was hesitant too. But I have now listened to all but a few of his sermons in his playlist and I assure anyone that what his teaching is Bible based and true to God's word. When Jesus was on the earth he taught a new message too. And of course we know the criticism he endured, for our benefit of course. ❤️

This is a very common problem we face. I have been addicted to approval for most of my life but recently God has been calling me out to greater things and I have been scared to follow. This week I finally decided to follow Gods plan for my life. I feel free and I realized I had been the one stifling my happiness. God is amazing. I’m glad I have almost weaned myself totally off APPROVAL ADDICTION. God be praised! Amen
As Christians, we receive our theology from the Bible and nowhere else. Many believers struggle with health issues, unaware of the tools provided by God in His design that can help them to heal and maintain their bodies for His glory. 🎉 blessing and prayers

Thank you so much for your sermon. A friend of mine told me to listen to you. All my life I've been a people pleaser and I'm addicted to approval. I'm in recovery now for quite a long time and they talk about "GOD" or a higher power, myself I was born catholic and went to church every Sunday. I believe in God. I seem to have a problem because I don't feel him or hear him like many people in AA, when they say they have close contact with him. I pray to him, but I can't feel or hear him, maybe you can give me some pointers. Thank you!!
Read the Gospels they will be very helpful to you. Also try listening to John mcarther also for some balance

As I listen to you and others faith filled believer old things are passing away I am a new creature in Jesus Christ. My mind is being renewed in the word of GOD, JESUS is His name. You will lose people who are used to you going out of your way to please them once you stop. But this is not necessarily a bad thing. You can't let people control you. I have been in this trap before.
