Well, well! Didn't expect this to pop up tonight!! Pleasant surprise! Happy Trails!! That stream you hit right after your story about being puddled was really beautiful and running fast. Ha! That clip and shoutout of crossing then retrieving the camera was classic!
I enjoy some music on the videos but nothing sounds as good as the trail sounds......rushing water, birds chirping, feet moving through the leaves, etc. Thanks for sharing your videos. Looking forward to the 2021 AT thru hike. I’ve been following Quicksand on the Trail.
Sweet beginning on the road, really pretty section of road, so far, to kick off a sweet day. BUT SPLASH, TO WAKE YOU RIGHT UP. Love that huge barn you passed, and who’da believed you’d meet Doormat coming home from work, and Eddie and Anita bless you once again. Really nice creeks you crossed with some cool waterfalls 🙂😎. I couldn’t believe the water was so clear, with all that rain the night before. Really nice day, Hawk. Tomorrow’s the big day😎❣️
QuickSand king of the walkby ! Haha great videos really enjoyed seein this trail. You show a lot of things you don’t get in other videos. Much appreciated. Can’t wait to see the finish.😀
Good stuff Hawk! My family and I saw a huge bear right near that first creek you forded a few months ago. It ran away right when it heard us. We loved those wide trails back in that section. Great job man!
Day 18 is a "noisy" start with the frogs greeting HAWK on the start of a beautiful hiking weather 28.9 mile day. . . .HST Members Eddie and Anita Chapman give HAWK a ride back to trail and AT Thru Hikers IRON WILL and DOORMAT do an early morning "meet and greet" with HAWK. . . .lots of water today, from just plain mud to splashy puddles to roaring waterfalls and ultimately several post rain "shoeless" stream/river fordings (with at least two extra crossings just for us; his loyal fans). . .and in Today's HAWKISM @8:49 it looks like HAWK may have invented a "new verb", "That's a first for me. . .Getting "puddled" by a car. . .(HAWK Laugh)."

Hawk, Good Evening! Just so you know, On the AT right now there is a unstable guy near Fontana dam area. Stronghold all over. Be carful when you get on the AT . He even mentioned to a guy to stop filming him and how he hates youtubers. You also missed huge tornados in Alabama. Totaled towns flat. Do what you do and well follow you! Stay warm, Stay safe, Be yourself. God bless
1:07 You should never delete a UA-cam video for any reason. If you have to, just put the video on Private. Then only you can see it. If you decide you want people to be able to watch it again, mark it Public again, and it's back. 👍 No chance of losing any video that way. 😎☮️
