Well.. if you can't sing or don't hit the note at all not even autotune can help you. So.. yeah. And autotune doesn't mean that you sound bad without and good with. That's not really how it works. Autotune is wayyyy more complex.

It’s not easy to be an idol either you have to ditch your school, and spent years being a trainee if ur lucky enough you will get to debut. If ur lucky again, ur group will be successful and them ur debt with the company will settle. If ur group isn’t successful and known at all then all the hard work for all the years will go to waste. Not only that, you know nothing abt academy since you ditch school just to be an idol.
