I coulda be a math-Teacher, I coulda speak English fluently, I coulda be happier but my fate was written in another way. "C' est la vie" "When I was a little girl I asked my mother what I will I be....que sera, sera. Whatever will be will be. The future's not ours to see what will be, will be. " I am in the end of my seventies and this song was new when I was twenty and I used to sing it. My father didn't like it and he said to me : Don't believe it, it's not true: " Whatever will be will be" - you had to form your life. But events of our history formed my life better than I coulda.

I have some internet friends from the UK who write 'could of' all the time and I thought it was just a slang (? or just something about the accent) in there or something. I live in an Asian country where English is a foreign language and even though I speak English very well, I still could be wrong. This is why I still watch videos like this even when I already know about it and pronounce things ☺
This is a great video, btw! Thank you for the free class ♥

    • @superduperenglishidioms

"Could of" is one of my pet peeves! People make this mistake all the time, because the proper, "could've" sounds as they spell it. Totally wrong and very happy that you became aware of it 😆
