Can we program internet button for voice input?
I have this same remote without the name brand at the bottom and all of the buttons are programmable. I programmed the actual volume buttons, pg (or channel) +/-, mute button, home key, arrow buttons, OK button, back button, etc. Really awesome. It's better in my opinion to use actual volume buttons for volume instead of the little ones at the bottom of the remote.
Wow! you are right. I just tried in mine and I was able to program other buttons besides the colored buttons. I can absolutely store away the other remotes. I will add notes on the Video. Thanks!!

I just ordered this remote and I was wondering, is there a way to program a key twice?
What I mean by that, I have a smart TV that has a menu for which I use the up/down/left/right keys to navigate.
From my cable company I have a seperate device which I also want to navigate with the up/down/left/right keys.
So is there a way to e.g. switch between TV mode (which is IR mode I believe) and non-TV mode on this remote, and thus effectively control both devices with the same buttons (not at the same time ofcourse)?

Mordana Excellion On the one I have, yes that works. I program my android box which has the USB dongle inserted (status light on remote is blue) to power on and off, then after that is done I can click the red "TV" button and status light is red. I can then program the power button for my TV set (IR control). Hope that helps.
Elzhan I haven't tried the numeric buttons. I don't think I've ever used them on either my TV or my Android box. But you can give it a shot.
I'm confused, what does the volume keys do? If they can't be configured, what's the point of having them?

Thanks, took a while to figure out your vid. be better with narrative instead of music as it appears you are touching the top power button when you are just pointing to light. But eventually figured it out.

IR RANGE ISSUE - If your programming doesn't seem to be working, you may need to be closer to the IR target. My TV remote works from over 10 feet away, but the air mouse IR signal is weaker, and only works from 5 feet away.
Thanks for the tips, my air mouse is with the cursor of the direct pointer going up alone, already tried the hint of pressing Home + ok keys, together, but the light is on, does not blink, what should I do to try to solve this problem?

Factory reset is as followed: hold down the "TV" button and the "DEL" for three seconds. The red led light will blink repeatedly, when it stops the process will be completed.

robpeoples26 been looking for this answer for ages I programmed my Shield to switch off and on with Shield but then programmed my Mini mx box I have factory reset my remote but cannot remember how to reprogramme the turn off for my shield now grrrrrr

Can you please tell me how to turn on the TV while I don't have the original TV remote I lost it, I switch on my smart TV manually I used every thing smoothly and turn it off with air mouse but it doesn't turn the TV on every time I need to switch it manually
Too bad, I explicitly bought "yours" with the Bonusis branding to get one of those remotes that would enable programming of more than just the colored keys. But apparently they put out a new series in 2017. Remote looks exactly the same, but programming is slightly different, and unfortunately only colored keys can be programmed. Bummer! I want a replacement of my TV remote, not an extra one. :-(

I've always found that when I removed the batteries from MOST electronics of this type--automatic reset to factory specs. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the video. It helps, given the manual is a bit hard to read. I have a Measy branded one. It chews through a pair of batteries just about in a day. There seems to be a power wasting problem with this device.

hi Din Vision, nice info for us . i ask you if you know if exist some air mouse -keyboard that have the Navigation virtual Keys ( home-Back and this is importante to use --the Recent - key-- that do what this virtual button do at Android (Recente virtual buttons) - the Recent square button - the multitasking square button to acess /change /close aplications running, on device. I have purchased many of these remotes over the years. Lost count of how many I have. The original is Aerb remote but the the manufacturer sellers to many sellers under different names. You can find on amazon. Same shit, different seller. They have different models. Some have mic, some don't. Different colors. Newer model has backlit. On all of them you can program the 4 colored buttons and the power button (by default the power button will shut off the unit your're controllig (eg: PC, TV, DVD player, etc). But maybe you are controlling the PC but want power button to shut off TV instead. Problem is there is a defect in the backlit unit. When you program a new function, the old one doesn't get erased. So now, pressing power button shuts off TV AND computer each time. Also, the reason I have purchased so many of these remotes over the years is because all of them have a major physical defect. There is a weakness on the lower right hand side near battery compartment. Eventually, it will weaken and crack. I'm careful with remotes. But any slight handling, bump or anything and the very fragile piece of poor quality plastic chips. Big deal right? Well that small part is like the exhaust pipe of the the death star. It chips and then the whole thing falls apart. I can't get a remote to last me more than 3 -4 months in for any of my 3 tv's. Other than that, remote is great but I think I need to move on to another remote.

Hello, I can program the buttons to turn on the TV and the android box. That works fine, BUT then it's impossible to use the air mouse in the android box. How can I make that work?

I received a remote that does not work with the receiver and the remote does work.
Try using a phone with ir and an ir-remote-app. That is what I did for my TV when the original remote crapped out on me. It even enabled me to populate some thusfar unused buttons with functions that weren't even present on the original remote from my tv. This really is one of my altime favourite remotes as not only can you program almost all the buttons but if you only use the ir-side, the batteries will last a looooong time. Only additional feature I would love to see is being able to program all the keyboard-side buttons.
My remote can only learn on those 5 buttons and nothing else.
It looks exactly the same, it is just missing the brand logo at the bottom.

I have only tried in the MX3, shown in the video.
I bought a backlight version a couple years back. Can't remember the name, but identical key layout. Unfortunately only the 4 colored keys plus power button can learn so I threw it away. It seems there exists two firmware versions on these remotes. They look physically identical but different learning capabilities. I'm still looking for one with all 42 key learning.

No, you have to do a factory reset in order to lose programming.

I have that problem when the battery is low. Usually it is fixed after I replace the batteries.

Mine is similar but that combo didn't work, trial and error got me - TV button held down, then the colour, then the other remotebutton held down till it flashed, then the same colour button, then TV again. Worth a try

This is the most confusing shit I ever seen. 🤣 Why point it at another mouth/remote? What if u don't have another remote? My old one was smashed so I can't do whatever ur doing with 2 remotes
These boxes that only have 5 programmable buttons are JUNK! What good are all of those other buttons on the remote if they also can't be programmed to control TV functions? The volume control, mute, navigation pad, home button, etc are all just useless fake buttons for TV control. MOST of these Air Mouse remotes are this way - but not all...
Shop carefully and you will find that there are a few which support programming all 42 keys. The price is almost exactly the same also. I got one with all the keys programmable on Amazon for $16.
UPDATE: I got one from Amazon seller pendoo that promised to be able to program all the keys, but had a hell of a time figuring out how to program the keys for IR mode. The supplied instructions did not work. I had to modify the programming technique and did eventually get most of my TV remote functions transferred over to the Air Mouse. Unfortunately, it lost the programming for the power button and it has resisted all efforts to reprogram it using the exact same technique that worked to program at least a dozen other keys. I can sometimes get the power button programming to work one time (after reprogramming) but then it quits again. All of the other IR programmed keys for my TCL Roku TV continue to work though. VERY FRUSTRATING. These things must have buggy firmware in them.
