You can try the same method. I think it depends on which version. It works in some version of the remote.

Hi, how do you program the power button on MX3? My power button is just functioning to close the switch of the TV but unable to switch on.
Your suggestions are highly appreciated if you know the solution.

Having the same problem, programmed button can only power OFF my Samsung TV, could not power ON the TV. However, it worked perfect on my Android TV box, can power OFF and ON using the programmed button on the Air Mouse.

Darn, would've liked to revert back the 2.4GHz power control at factory settings. Anyway thanks for answering :)

Some decide are reset using power + del for 5 seconds.... Don't see a delete on this one tho
