Peter and Tommy, This was a great video! The journey up the canyon was beautiful. I loved Tommy doing an Edvard Munch "The Scream" pose at 8:13! Then at 8:33 where Tommy says the weather is like Peter's emotions - Hah! I don't find Peter's online persona changeable at all - just constantly sweet and adorable! You guys are absolutely so funny all the time: ironic, naive, teasing humor. I'm always looking forward to the next video when I can be with you guys again!
Thank you, Pat 😉 Makes us really happy to hear that you've been enjoying our videos and also all our silly talk 😁 My mood can change a lot, Tommy is definitely more stable, haha 😁 See you next time 😊 ~Peter
That was so wonderful and beautiful, it brings back memories of the walk i did last year through the valley floor so lush and green.. Beautiful island and beautiful people..
Beautiful and stunning walk ! I didn t know there were such landscape with little canyons etc...A very interesting video, thank you for sharing. Be happy and blessed ❤
Nature never ceases to amaze us and that's how those beautiful landscapes appear in front of our eyes I'm surprised that on that path to the Caverna de los Cernícalos, with such dense vegetation, no animal has appeared. This time reason prevailed and you Peter was able to say "no no" to the dark tunnel. You saved my anguish. Thanks for that. In case you celebrate, Happy Easter sweeties. Until next time.
Thank you very much, Liliana 😉 We were also surprised how different and beautiful all the places were. No animals is probably because Canary Islands are part of Spain, which is part of the European Union and there isn't much wildlife here unfortunately. So it looks like Gran Canaria is no exception. But at least there is no risk of bears or mountain lions, or some venomous snakes. Yes, when the tunnel is not on the map, it's a no no. We always have to have information in advance when we want to explore something like that 😁 Happy Easter to you too 😉 We don't really celebrate it, but we have at least some cute Easter decorations at home 😊
Evening guys. It was so nice to get home after dinner with friends and find your newest video on UA-cam! Brrr, it's the start of autumn in Johannesburg and quite nippy outside. Your adventure in Gran Canaria looks wonderful. Hopefully, your travels will one day bring you to the beautiful shores of South Africa. Wishing you you both a blessed Easter. 🙌 ✝️ Tiaan❤
Oh no, we are having spring here and on the opposite side there is autumn. We are glad warmer half of the year is ahead of us 😁 You never know, maybe one day we will make it to South Africa. Happy Easter 😉
LOL The stress I'm experiencing watching Peter walk and stumble along the edge of the cliff while looking backwards at the camera.. I can't take it! 😄 Such a beautiful trek. This is one of my favourite videos you guys have made. Thank you!
Haha, no need to be stressing out, all the falling off the cliff is under control 😀 Makes us really happy to hear that you liked the video, thank you 😊😉
Thanks! We liked both hikes, we were just sad that we didn't have time to finish the canyon one - there are more beautiful and bigger waterfalls along the trail.
Another amazing video guys. Because of you two I'm growing to love Gran Canaria...and Im pretty sure we'll be spending some of the coming winter there. You certainly know how to sell a place! ❤
Thank you 😊 So cool, that we can show you how pretty Gran Canaria is. You only have to know where on the island to look for these places 😊💚 Keep enjoying Prague 😁
Another very good video. Such a drastic change from the opposite side of the island. It really wants to be tropical but does not quiet achieve it, Beautiful and very unique. As usual Peter gives a running narration of what is going on. Both of you and especially Tommy is thoroughly enjoying himself. What a great place to visit. Love the large Agave plants everywhere. They are actually grown here as a novelty plant. Ours come from Mexico and are known locally as a century plant. There is also a variety with a yellow stripe along the outside edge of the leaf. Looking forward to the next video. Take care and be safe. Tony
Thank you, Tony. Yes, it's very different on this side of the island. We loved it because every day we could see something different. So great that you enjoyed the video. Agave plants are very exotic to us, since they don't grow in central Europe, so it was very interesting to see them 😊
Love this video. You guys always take us on the best adventures. I can’t believe you didn’t put on a Speedo or go skinny dipping in the waterfall. This is where we would go. As few people as possible. Paradise. ❤❤ Thank you.
Beautiful country. There was a time when I would have hiked all over like you two do but those days are gone so it is fun to tag along the paths you walk. Thanks.
Funny you mention it! Next video, which will be published on Thursday, is from Firgas and Barranco de Azuaje 😊 So don't forget to tune in, we really liked it 💚 Thank you 😉
In the Canary Islands we have a weather fenómeno call micro weather. Basically that can make one part of the island very cold like 0 degrees and raining and another part so hot up to 20 degrees
Hi Tommy and Peter, Yesterday I heard Gloria Gaynor’s disco hit “Honey Bee” and immediately thought of you!😅 Love your travel adventures this week. Frohe Ostern, Happy Easter.🐣
Some parts of your hike looked very when Tommy was walking along the water channel. I worried about Peter walking behind Tommy and fixing at the same time. The path looked very narrow! Such a different environment with cacti and lush greenery growing together. Great video...
Maybe it looks narrower on the camera than in real life. We didn't even realize it might be too narrow and we just walked. It was ok 😉 Yes, we were pleasantly surprised with the green environment. Thank you 😊
We also wished there would have been more time to go further. There should be more and bigger waterfalls along the trail. It wasn't very cold, maybe it only looked like it in the fresh environment. Next time we'll show something different of the island again 😊😉
“The lights are on so it is time to go.” When I was a kid, we were told we had to go home when the street lights came on. Now kids can’t stay out and play like that anymore.
Yes, it was the same with us 😊 But here in Central Europe or in Gran Canaria kids can stay out and play nowadays too, they just probably don't want to because they have more fun on their phones or something...

The jungle at Barranco de los Cernícalos looks amazing.
Thank you! We absolutely loved it 😊💚

Great hiking! I love both the volcano rim hike and the lush canyon hikes.

Thank you, Andrew 😊 We didn't have enough time to hike all the way through the canyon, let alone having a shower in the waterfall. Maybe next time 😁
A lovely fairytale hike on Gran Canaria Tommy and Peter...beautiful..than you, James ❤❤
Thank you, James 😊💚
Wow 👌 absolutely breathtaking amazing. I love it 😊
Thank you 😊😉
Beautiful country. There was a time when I would have hiked all over like you two do but those days are gone so it is fun to tag along the paths you walk. Thanks.
Thank you! We are glad that we can take you with us on a hike at least through our videos. More is coming 😊
another neat find that I never heard of before
Glad we could show you, Jerry 😉
very nice video! if you love green and lush landscapes you have to visit Azuaje next time. its in Firgas just north of LAs Palmas.
Funny you mention it! Next video, which will be published on Thursday, is from Firgas and Barranco de Azuaje 😊 So don't forget to tune in, we really liked it 💚 Thank you 😉

i've heard that description before, "the clouds are rolling through the sky"
So I was kinda right, yay 😁
I wished it had been more 😎…beautiful island anyway…it did look a bit 🥶, but maybe the temp was OK? Thanks for sharing❤
