Hi Ryen, Furminators are actually bad for corgi fur as they have a double coat. The furminator is a blade and cuts it, double coats should never be cut! Frequent brushes with a normal brush is much better for the coat, it'll just take a bit longer :)
Lol we wash our Carkie mix once a month because she has allergies and she gets scabs since she is allergic to: Pine, almost every food besides duck and potato, and cats.
