I hope you angels enjoyed this video! This is the first video where I express my raw feelings and emotions, so please be easy on me. Everything I said was an option, and I hope a lot of girls can relate. Hair is such a big part of my identity when it comes to my being half-black. I feel like my curls are just more me, and even tho this is only a week-old silk press, it is time to go. I love you guys, and thank you for giving me a platform where I can express these emotions.

Hey boo! If I can offer some advice… I totally understand the hair identity struggle. But I hope this brings comfort. Part of being a black woman is having the benefit of hair versatility. It’s a huge part of us, not only our natural state! That’s what brings me comfort whenever I switch styles and miss my curls! Silk presses are apart of our culture (like braids), they’re not trendy. They’re timeless and classic like all of our styles. You’re you in your entirety; curly or straight! 💕
I hate the fact that UA-cam fails to update me at times even-though my notification cation is on 🙄😮💨.

We have a loooot of similarities in our hair. Especially how our ends look when its straight buuuttt I HAVE A TIP! I do protein treatments before a silk press. Just the lil $2 packets from walmart. I can’t remember the brand but theres a white packet with banana and bamboo and i looooove it
Also we both gotta work on our self worth, hold high expectations (not too high) because you’re worth it. Just gotta show it to those with the eyes to see it!
