I'll certainly miss your videos, far more entertaining than the usual dull as dishwater flight sim stuff on UA-cam. Take care and come back when you are ready, we'll be waiting. All the best.

You’re one of the gems on YT! Love your sense of humor and will miss these videos for sure. I can fly Jude around while you’re away if that helps. Will of course not talk to her, don’t want to interrupt her mindfulness or whatever:) Hope you and your loved ones are safe and well. See you later (I didn’t say alligator)!

I watch a lot of MSFS related YD videos primarily to learn something about a new add-on, new aircraft, how to improve my flying, how to use features and functionality, etc. I watch your videos not for those reasons (...although I do sometimes learn something new!) but because I always know that you will make me smile, if not outright laugh. That you will touch on real world subjects and topics to which I can relate and most times agree. That you will oft times wonder off in God only knows what direction - but an interesting direction none the less - and ultimately bring things back to where you started. And that you will do all that in an entertaining fashion while flying from and to parts of the virtual world I have yet to venture. Watching your videos is like spending time with a friend and I for one will miss my routine doses of 'The Flying Dad' while you take a break. Thanks for the time and effort you have put into your videos and I look forward to seeing a Notification pop up in the future (not too distant future I hope!) that you are back flying the friendly skies. All the best to you and your family from Almonte, Ontario, Canada.

well, guess that was a touch of sadness from your side coming thru - I have to say, getting jaded by the sim is not unusual when such a monumentally impacting change bites you, I've seen other people in the simtube community with the same feeling. It's not great that this kind of thing happens. Sometimes all you can do is tough it out until the next WU or SU comes and hope it doesn't make it worse. All depends on how important getting back in the skies is to you I guess, how far and fast someone tries to recover from that. And while your unscripted, brash, random, but completely Aussie sens of humour may not be for everyone, at least the ones responding here will likely miss you from our airwaves. Thanks again for keeping the TBM mod updates coming, they are an important addition to this great little plane

I enjoy your videos, but I do understand how time consuming it may be for you. Keep flying the sim on your own time, and eventually you will get back to the point of being ready to start back with sim videos. You have fans. We looks forward to your return.

“The prevailing winds of life” gosh, that could mean so many things. No idea what has happened, but as a long time fan (from the lake Oshkosh videos. Do you remember your saying “she stayed” I was so moved by that simple statement), hence my reaction is of great concern. I have watched a million UA-cam videos re MSFS, few of those very excellent content providers bring their birds, their dogs, their real life into their videos. From a late in life guy, and friend from half way around the world, I sincerely hope that when things work out we will see you again (soon). My Best, Steve

I dont watch you regulary, but loved the j3 cub and tiger moth video. Big part in picking the Moth up and being one of my favorites now. The cub didnt make it, but instead the awesome scenery! I am driving next to it on my way to holiday and didnt even knew there was a strip there! Lucky me ^^ You really made an impression and i hope you are well or get to a comfortable/happy place in life. All the best from Germany :)

That was a very fighter-esque approach to landing but it was awesome to see. I think you underestimate the effect of your videos and content because it is genuinely some of the best flight sim content on the tube, and you are well-deserving of each of the 1800+ subs you have and probably even more. We'll all be here and ready when you're back!

You are a gentleman and your videos are great. I hope that your family and health are ok and I hope your birds and all other pets are ok ! I hope they all appreciate you the way we do.
When you get back I'd love you to do a video on your family and pets and how you jungle flight simming with being a family man. That's something I find difficult. I rarely have time for flight simulator with the family, work and all. So your input on that would be huge.
Anyways, be well and come back soon.

Oh bugger! You’re off?! What the hecky decky am I going to do now? Seriously though, good fun mate.. thanks for all the good stuff.. and the occasional not so good stuff😅 I’ve come late (Jude!) but I’ve enjoyed your channel very much.. so for goodness sake don’t leave us poor sods just to flounder. My sim doesn’t work much of the time and watching yours has been a welcome destressing distraction from my often keyboard smashing virtual yelling screaming sessions at Jorg and the gang! So don’t be away too long please.. I’m running out of keyboards. To you I raise a glass and wish you rest, relaxation and a f@@@ing sim that works! Bon voyage Dad! Love you big guy!

I've been SO frustrated with MSFS since update 11; same experience as you. Every other app on my PC works 100%. I finally took a gamble on the ddu nvidia uninstaller. Unbelievable! MSFS hasn't crashed or glitched since. I didn't realize how traumatized I'd been; the relief is measurable in all areas of my life...don't even care how lame that sounds. :D Give it a try if you have an Nvidia card! Oh, and when I reinstalled the gpu drivers, all the icons on my 4 screens went back to their normal places. Brilliant!!
