Twin Engine Deck Based Fighter (TEDBF) is an Indian fighter jet which is currently under development. This is being designed for requirements of Indian Navy by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). TEDBF will mainly operate from Indian Navy’s aircraft carriers.

I read a question somewhere in Twitter by a aviation expert questioning the TEDBF design. He also questioned that can it fly or just show case purpose. I hope DRDO would prove him wrong by flying this machine.

Sir one last question: Can the CATS hunter and other(unnamed systems that will provide assistance to the mother aircraft) displayed with the tejas in the Aero India 2021 can be used with TEDBF also?

Only software integration and vibration test during flight with those system will be validated if it is carried in internal bay then space is only the parameter to be considered cats hunters and other such system are futuristic should be integrated in future fighters

Frankly speaking we 90 fighters for carrier operations & 72-80 for Naval bases over a period of 25 years.

Hello brother, I have one question. In future Indian defense forces will start manufacturing multiple endogenous aircraft. I would like to know HAL's production capacity if all helicopters and aircraft have to manufacture in particular same time.
They have to create separate assambly line for each aircraft and helicopter

For any 50000 Ton + Aircraft Carrier, we need at least 3 squadrons of fighters too be available. Apart from another 2 mixed squadrons of reconnaissance and troop carrying & attack helicopters.
For a Super Carrier either Nuclear or Conventional of over 90000 tonnage, this number is pegged at a minimum of 4 available fighter attacks and 2 mixed squadrons. Total 6 squadrons per Super Carrier.
I think we can lease 18 jets of FA-18 or Rafale M for our new aircraft carrier for 8-10 years.
The Junk Fighter 17 Lunder (JF17 Thunder) has Alien tech in it. Which makes it Inter Galactic Thanos Ship. It can travel 1000 times faster than speed of light.
