The V6 camaro was a really great middle ground between the miatas/s2000s and mustangs/m3s, faster on the straights than the smaller cars, but easier to handle and less nose heavy in the corners than the bigger ones. Still a bit porky in curb weight though.
these camaro v6s are no joke man i’m yet to come across anyone on the highway significantly faster than me other than coyotes. you can run with scatpacks with a couple of mods because of the weight difference and they handle surprisingly well in the corners
19x10 front 19x11 rear, the Camaro specific set from apex, I bought them used though, if I could buy new I would've went with 19x11 front as well. Tires are 305 width re71r all around, a bit too wide for the 10inch fronts, getting too much shoulder wear.
What do you have to do to make these reliable on track? Just track pads and high temp brake fluid? Thinking about getting one, but not sure if there are cooling issues, etc. Coming from a track Miata which I’m planning on keeping also.
V6 1LE has enhanced cooling for the engine, trans and differential along with 4 piston Brembos up front and forged 20 inch wheels. Plus I recall watching a Chevy launch video for the V6 1LE with one of the Engineers claiming they stress test all 1LEs on track for 24 hours straight. I have a SS 1LE and have run it on track for ~ 45 min sessions during 100 plus degree ambient and over 120 deg on track with no issues. Matter of fact after coming off track I was sitting in the pits with the AC blasting to cool off. The car never missed a beat. Also if you are really into track days/HPDE get the PDR option if you can. There is a ton of data available that will be invaluable to help you improve as a driver and find speed on track.
yup, carbotech xp10(if i remember correctly) pads and hi temp fluid, did over 20 track days in the summer and the car never missed a beat. by far the easiest car to run reliably at the track, but with upgraded wheels and tires the brakes become more of a weak point, as the calipers and rotors are from base SS i think, the SS 1LE has much better brakes.
RIP 1LE package. I still plan on picking up a v6 Camaro with the heavy-duty cooling package and tracking it. Have you gone up against any LT1s or GT Mustangs? How does the V6 compare to those?
the v6 1LE is pretty comparable on track to those cars in stock form, close enough that a change in tires makes one or the other faster. The power differential is huge though, comparing a v6 1le to a SS 1LE is no contest, even with mods to the 1LE. I sold my 1le to buy a smaller/lighter track car in the future but at the time it bridged the gap perfectly between price/track performance/daily drivability, it was a great car.
Wow, V6 and blowing past everything else there. Truly amazing !!!!

You'll hear it over and over again; the v6 1LE punches way above it's weight class
that camaro was probably one of the best sounding cars there tbh
My guy out here whooping ass and lapping the entire field in the v6!!!
this dude is a pretty good driver. seems like the 1le is a good car as well
I love this car. The 1le is the best version of the 3.6
Such a sleeper, I love the V6 1LE, nice racing!
Would love to see more videos of you just cruising around giving the car some throttle! My factory ordered v6 is waiting to be shipped cant wait!
Bro you killed it 💪
Awesome driving.
Nice driving here. I just ordered a 2022 V6 1LT Camaro. No LE package anymore though. It'll still be a fun track car though with some small tweaks.
If you get it for MSRP, it's insane value.
@@SalveMonesvol Yeah I got a hell of a deal on mine. A few thousand under MSRP.
@@CapFlipGaming 3k under MSRP would be impossible to say no to.
Great driving!!
GREAT VIDEO! AWESOME JOB DRIVING.!
Lol 😂 I have. 2021 v6 1le … I love it 😍 now that I seen this lol 😂
What are you running for wheels/tires? I see arc-8, curious what you went with :)

Apparently fastest car on the circuit.
Awesome!
Hells yeah

Camaros are fire you were going to love how it drives you can take corners so easy with no loss of traction
why does the m3 brake lights come on twice
