My birthday is coming up tomorrow! Going to be 29! 🤩 And I got the whole week off work since I put in my paid days off! 😁 I ended up taking a Turner Coach Bus trip to Nashville, Tennessee last weekend to kick off my birthday week and it was so much fun. Got to see Ashley McBride and Carrie Underwood at the Grand Ole Opry with my Mom. I also got a lot of stuff from the Grand Ole Opry giftshop and the Opry Mills Mall like from the giftshop of Madame Trussurds wax museum. Two of items I got from there were Dua Lipa and Lil Nas X magnets! I also got try out The Cheesecake Factory and Cinnabon for the first time while at the Mall and they were both awesome. 😄
So did any of you see that Linkin Park’s new single is currently predicted to debut in the Top 20 next week? That would mark the first time they’ve been in the region since 2009. This year keeps finding new ways to surprise me. About time we had a rock revival in the charts! ❤
true. the emptiness machine is a fantastic song, and literally the only complaint i have against it is how emily armstrong, the new vocalist, defended danny masterson.
I had a different interpretation of that Kendrick line. Namely, that he was talking about the long breaks between his releases and comparing himself to a comet - something that only comes around occasionally, but is spectacular when it does.

Funny song from 2 funny guys Ain't No Mountain High Enough by CYRIL: A really solid EDM remix of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Simple, but effective. Man, you know this week sucked when a 2024 Drake track ended up getting Best Of The Week. I will say that him debuting at #69 with 'Circadian Rhythm' did remind me of a certain lyric from Kendrick! 😂
Recommendation for Veeze: his breakthrough song "Law N Order," named for its sample, is great. It's been used to soundtrack a clip of Chris Paul bowling highlights, and it has the incredible line "I knew this shit was gon' come just like I seen it on the Simpsons."

Cool that this new "Drake" artist got two singles to debut this week. Heck, with the right single I can see him entering the top 40, or even the top 10 in just a few years. I think he's next.
Before I list my opinions, you need to start saying "NICE!" whenever a song debuts, gains up to, or falls to 69 on the Hot 100. BOTW: Tailor Swif - You think a song titled that would debut higher. I don't care about the lyrics, but it's performed well, and for me, that's enough. HM: Young Love & Saturday Nights - Yeah, I get that the sample might be too obvious, but I'm sure people will take this over Lonely Road. Also, at least there's no drum machines. DM: Crazy - Yeah no, the production here is a mess, and the chorus gets on my nerves with every listen. WOTW: Sorry Not Sorry - Both Lil Yachty and Veeze sound checked out, at least Hate Me had some groove for Yachty, and ian I guess. Also, if you're going to steal a song title from Demi Lovato (remember that song guys?), you have to do better than this. Next week, "Diet Pepsi", that A$AP Rocky and J. Cole collab, along with a few things from Bubbling Under, we'll see what happens. Oh, and maybe the new Linkin Park single, we'll see.

Song Recommendation: Lovers Always Lose-Boys Go the Jupiter Very solid song here. The production is pretty good. It figures that the music video takes place at a prom considering the way this sounds does have that vibe. But this song mostly has the quality it has thanks to the writing and performance. There's some damn good lyrics here. And Jess really sells the emotions this song wants to have. The whole thing feels like a standout stage musical song. Good music for people who like Chappell Roan. NO! THE POINT OF THIS COMMENT ISN'T TO TALK ABOUT CHAPPELL ROAN! Maybe I should keep an eye on these people. I wonder if Boys Go to Jupiter listens to Boy Who Hung the Moon by Ben Platt. I've been keeping this within me, but I feel like saying it now. I know this might be a controversial thing for me to talk about, but I'm still gonna get this off my chest. Sometimes, "Squidward Hand: Talking about some cool music-related thing outisde the charts, SpongeBob Hand: Talking about some slop on the charts," gets to me.
Wow. I don't usually agree with you about weeks being this bad, but you were not exaggerating. When the best song this week is a nonsense piece of K-pop by default, we're in trouble.
I'm not surprised that Drake got the best spot because a bro-country song that says "I'll love you like I'll never love you again" automatically makes Drake look like a charismatic feminist saint. I didn't even know that was possible in 2024
My Opinion of This Weeks New Arrivals: WOTW1: Love her Again- This is very creepy qnd unsexy tone for a song. WOTW2: Taylor Swif- Really? WOTW3: Both Drake song- Drake should not watch the Super Bowl Next Year. DM1: Sorry Not Sorry- Boring DM2: Young Love and Saturday Nights- This Boyfriend Country sure does exist doesn't it BOTW: Crazy- This is catchy and i like this production Today was crazy Tomorrow should be great
@@johnnydepp4866 including mgk, i suppose. look, there are pop artists like shawn mendes, olivia rodrigo, post malone and even sabrina carpenter can pull off country or folk. but mgk isn't trying hard enough to fit in the sound. even benson boone is beating him to it in terms of quality.
OLIVIA IS COMING TO MANILA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Anyways, some recommendations: - Murdergram Deux (a very fun LL Cool J and Eminem song that just goes OFF THE RAILS, and I LOVE IT) - The Emptiness Machine (emily armstrong as a person sucks, but she SLAYED here as a vocalist, and this rock edge is awesome) - Ego by Halsey (love this halsey song, this and lucky deserve better)
Song Thoughts: Piece by Piece-Pharrell Williams Hey look, between this and the Wild Robot song I talked about last week, it seems like songs from my two most anticipated movies of the year released back to back next to each other. Virgin Joker 2 vs. Chad Piece by Piece. And like last week's song, this was on the same Oscars Best Original Song prediction list I saw. How interesting. This is also from the music-related movie who's trailer I was the most positive towards. This film is the reason why Kendrick Lamar is gonna be in a PG rated movie. A lot of songs released last weekend, but this is the one I want to talk about the most. Now how's the song? It's neat. Good production. Good performance. Lyrics that are fine for the type of song this is. One of them probably being there just because it's a Lego movie ("We keep stackin' high"). It may not be as good as stuff like Who's the (Bat)Man? and Everything's Not Awesome, but it's way better than Found My Place. I also like it more than Kiss the Sky, but considering what Marren Morris went through recently, she deserves the Oscar nomination more. Apparently this wasn't even the only song from an animated movie releasing during the fall season and is based on a popular toy that released Last Friday by Katy Perry. Speaking of which..... Song Thoughts: If I Fall-Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, Are We Dreaming Connoisseur of songs from family movies here. What? This song is surprisingly unironically cool? Maybe even better than the Lego song? And it also has a lyric that's there because it's a Transformers movie ("I transform the bravest"). And yet it's not even gonna make the Oscars Best Original Song shortlist despite how it's going to be better than most of the songs in the actual nominees list. The shortlist will include shit like the Diane Warren song they put in there by obligation, Lewis Capaldi song from Lifetime reject, and a Mufasa song instead. It's no What I've Done, but it's still really good. The banger I didn't know I needed. Anyways, Stan Johann Krauss.
I think this week is kinda boring... Best: Tailor Swif (between this, Highjack and Ruby, A$AP is back and I am definitely here for it) HM: Crazy by Le Sserafim (THANK GOD this outpeaked Easy by a mile. It's not as great as Antifragile, but it's not just good, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than that atrocious debut Hot 100 entry of theirs.) Worst: GET OUT, DRAKE!
Oh, and can we please keep the politics out of here and take them somewhere else? I'm tired of hearing about them, and the comments talking about them get me frustrated.
Thank GOD Le Sserafim redeemed themselves with Crazy (commercially and critically), because they definitely needed it. Also, song’s an absolute bop on top of that. ✨All the girls are girling✨ 🙂↕️☝️
I really hate the stupid change they made to the tracking year, who gives a fuck about the awards show(s), you are a chart that tracks the biggest hit songs of a year. Also I really hope 28 can manage to cinch a spot on the year end
"Crazy" by LE SSERAFIM is a pretty alright kpop song. Not great, but it is better than "Easy". Okay, I want to just touch upon the topic of kpop because I just want y'all to be aware of it. Remember FIFTY FIFTY and how the members entered a nasty legal battle, lost their initial cases, and 3 of the members' contracts got terminated? Well, the 3 members are making their redebut in the industry. They signed under a subsidiary of IOK Company called Massive E&C. And as someone who LOVES "Cupid" and fell in love with FIFTY FIFTY, I am all for it. I plan on supporting those girls as they continue their fight against ATTRAKT who is still trying to exploit them for profit. I know most of you have probably moved on from that whole mess of a case, but the girls need all the support they can get. So I encourage you guys to support them as well. I'll probably make another post about this when they actually release music.
Kpop relies with big fandoms and all except BTS and some members and maybe blackpink and newjeans charts only for a week. Cupid is similar to Gangnam style which are both viral hits.
So uh..... Did yall watch the Presidential Debate a couple of minutes ago?! OMG Kamala absolutely WASHED Trump during that debate! It was so damn satisfying to watch! When she said, "Youre not running against Joe Biden, You're running against me," I was GAGGED!!!

I didn't even know that was possible in 2024
Drake as BOTW says it all.
Bro the veeze mistake is completely reasonable. Nobody could've remembered that as veeze.
My Opinion of This Weeks New Arrivals:
WOTW1: Love her Again- This is very creepy qnd unsexy tone for a song.
WOTW2: Taylor Swif- Really?
WOTW3: Both Drake song- Drake should not watch the Super Bowl Next Year.
DM1: Sorry Not Sorry- Boring
DM2: Young Love and Saturday Nights- This Boyfriend Country sure does exist doesn't it
BOTW: Crazy- This is catchy and i like this production
Today was crazy
Tomorrow should be great
even Mark is saying "crash out" now... and I still don't know what it means 😭
Well, you know something ain’t normal when post-beef Drake gets botw
I hope that The Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park can chart next week because I believe it's a good song
I prefer Silversun Pickups' Circadian Rhythm.
Why is Logic making country music?
Country is the hottest thing right now in US, everyone wants a slice of it
I mean Chase Matthew does kinda look like Logic.
OLIVIA IS COMING TO MANILA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Anyways, some recommendations:
- Murdergram Deux (a very fun LL Cool J and Eminem song that just goes OFF THE RAILS, and I LOVE IT)
- The Emptiness Machine (emily armstrong as a person sucks, but she SLAYED here as a vocalist, and this rock edge is awesome)
- Ego by Halsey (love this halsey song, this and lucky deserve better)
Ego was really good.
@@anamelessyoutuber1462 ikr?
Linkin Park is back baby
you know it’s a terrible week when post not like us drake gets best
Drake BOTW?
Maybe it’s because I’m a Sabrina fan and genuinely love short n’ sweet but MANNNNN I miss last week’s Sabrina album bomb
Song Thoughts: Piece by Piece-Pharrell Williams
Hey look, between this and the Wild Robot song I talked about last week, it seems like songs from my two most anticipated movies of the year released back to back next to each other.
Song Thoughts: If I Fall-Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, Are We Dreaming
Connoisseur of songs from family movies here.
Didnt expect to see Drake as best of the week
Rich homie quan is coming to re-enter after his death.
I think this week is kinda boring...
Best: Tailor Swif (between this, Highjack and Ruby, A$AP is back and I am definitely here for it)
HM: Crazy by Le Sserafim (THANK GOD this outpeaked Easy by a mile. It's not as great as Antifragile, but it's not just good, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than that atrocious debut Hot 100 entry of theirs.)
Worst: GET OUT, DRAKE!
Oh, and can we please keep the politics out of here and take them somewhere else? I'm tired of hearing about them, and the comments talking about them get me frustrated.
Honestly, same.
Kendrick Lamar is Performing at the Super Bowl in 2025 Yall!!! WOOHOOO!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎊
That's bad
Both of the country debuts this week have just been dropped by radio, which contributed to most of their momentum. They may be gone very quickly.
Let's get Warren zeiders relapse on the chart
Haha. That riff. 😂
This has got to be one of if not the worst weeks without hm or dhm being given
Thank GOD Le Sserafim redeemed themselves with Crazy (commercially and critically), because they definitely needed it. Also, song’s an absolute bop on top of that.
✨All the girls are girling✨ 🙂↕️☝️
Yes! I find their singles/title track choices hit or miss, and THANKFULLY, this hits! 😎
I really hate the stupid change they made to the tracking year, who gives a fuck about the awards show(s), you are a chart that tracks the biggest hit songs of a year. Also I really hope 28 can manage to cinch a spot on the year end
Why couldn't Chris Young release all dogs go to Heaven possibly the best country song of the year so far.
The “Tailor Swif” video reminds me of early Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and Ludacris in terms of visuals.
I feel like LL Cool J and Eminem's Murdergram Deux deserved that comparison more.
@@Oble_NocedaThat song should’ve charted.
BOTW: Crazy (I love easy so this is a great kpop song)
HM: Love you again
No WOTW
I'll probably make another post about this when they actually release music.
starry night is nice
@@Oble_NocedaEh! I personally want nothing to do with the 5 member version of FIFTY FIFTY.
@@MusicReviewer1504 fair.
Starry Night is on repeat! It's really good
Kpop relies with big fandoms and all except BTS and some members and maybe blackpink and newjeans charts only for a week. Cupid is similar to Gangnam style which are both viral hits.
Taylor Swift just endorsed Harris….
We won
@@shruggiemusic9057 I don't want to get too cocky because we all know what happened in 2016, but I can safely say that Trump is FUCKED!
So uh..... Did yall watch the Presidential Debate a couple of minutes ago?! OMG Kamala absolutely WASHED Trump during that debate! It was so damn satisfying to watch!
When she said, "Youre not running against Joe Biden, You're running against me," I was GAGGED!!!
true
I swear it was a coincidence I made a comment that was a double feature of me talking about two songs and I say what's the better of the two specifically today on this channel.
A Chappell Roan song has fallen off the hot 100. The west has fallen.
Billions are HOTTOGO
Midwest to be more specific
Relax, it'll probably re-enter next week if I had to guess.
hello friends hope your day is going well and has not been disturbed by anything remotely american politically related
it's going well as i am excited for olivia's silver star show in my home country this october! ill try to buy tickets
Oh god, Linkin Park is coming next week… not looking forward to it.
Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar for getting to perform at the Super Bowl!
So excited!!!
looking forward to the performance
He offically won the beef.
I gotta say this presidential debate sure has been a comedy
I think all of us can agree that Kamala absolutely DESTROYED Trump! It was so satisfying to watch!
