That was interesting. I have a Grizzly G0555, but not the anniversary one. Except for colors, everything seems the same with one huge exception. I WANT that height adjuster for the guide bearings! Now that I know about it, I'll have to find out what's involved in adding it to my machine. Glad you pointed it out!

Yeah when I realized that I was so excited because it makes the hight adjustment super simple!

I have the same model and made two changes where it was lacking. First I mounted a flex shaft utility light on the back of the machine. Second I was not happy with the plastic knobs for the gimbals and replaced them with cast iron.

Thank you for the review, I might be buying one of these in the next 2 weeks. Any issues with ordering, receiving the saw? Would love a follow up video if you've had a chance to use it much.

+linebacker I am going to be doing a follow up video in the near future. I had not a single problem with the shipping for my saw. I love a lot of the features and it makes for a wonderful addition to any shop!

yes but the key question is,,,,,they have a one year warranty vs rikon with a 5 year,,,more acceptable to getting burned when you can pick the rikon up at woodcraft,,plus home depot bandsaws have a 90 day return policy with no questions asked,,they seem like a good bandsaw,,,but if they really believed it the warranty would be longer,,im from the old school,,and I don't like to get cheated,,already been there with that one from sears

jeff oldham the difference from me and you is in my town in Canada our Home Depot doesn't carry near as much stuff as the United States. No way for me to get a rikon bandsaw unless I were to cross the border, get it at wood craft after exchange and tax at the border I was paying close to 2 times the amount I payed for the grizzly. I understand your thinking and I do really like the rikon, but just not for the price I was going to have to pay.

Rikon warranty is a feel good warranty..If something is going to go wrong it will go wrong within the first year, anything after that is likely your fault anyway. Laguna for example much better saw than either Rikon or Grizzly, one year warranty. With a band saw it's more about how easily it sets up and stays that way, warranties are ancillary to that, they are fiddly machines. This saw looks like a complete piece of crap btw.

    Buyer beware
I previously purchased a table saw and jointer from this
company with no problems however, I
bought a band saw from grizzly and when assembled it did not power on and had 3
    other defects.
Reading the troubleshooting guide on page 44 of the manual I
realized that I was not qualified to work on the electrical system. Contacting
Grizzly I was treated less than poorly. Grizzly finds it acceptable to sell a
new machine with corroded wires, incorrectly installed the wiring harness for
the motor, defective start ON/OFF switch, Centrifugal and capacitor inoperative
etc.… I am not an electrician but Grizzly squarely puts the responsibility on the customer.
Under their warranty, Grizzly requires that you will affect
repairs on a brand new machine that is defective upon arrival. The only option, disassemble and ship the machine back
at your own costs for their evaluation, at which time they will decide to
repair/replace or refund and credit your shipping costs. I believe a warranty
is an insurance to repair or replace an item that BECOMES defective in time not
to ship you a machine that is inoperative on day 1.
I have been woodworking for 35 years and bought many tools,
I never experienced this lack of quality control and customer support.
Lastly upon searching the internet there is strong
possibility that I was shipped a refurbished saw.
Do read their warranty and return policy carefully.
Unfortunately I am not the only one with defective
equipment, the below links show that it is common.
