Wonderful film, thank you. Amazing 'still' and calm atmosphere down that way, somewhere I'd now like to visit, especially with the birds. Loved you arguing like Gollum about the Great Crested Newt 😂!
Incredible introduction. I don't think people realize how hard it is to edit up an intro like that. Loved the aesthetic of it all. And of COURSE I'm biased towards birds. Great episode. Keep up the good work.
Oh wow increadable find!!! They're really rare here too. I am also on the search for all the Lizards/snakes and amphibians you can find here in the Netherlands. The great crested newt, fire salamander and some others are the only salamanders I still need to find.
Cool video man. Ive spent a fair bit of time at dungeness. Are you sure you didnt see any marsh frogs while you were there? Their call is very distinctive
Which animal did you like the most?

Thank you!
Still and calm until I come and shout 'YOOOOO' at a seal 😂

Thank you very much! I'd be keen to hear your thoughts on the 'mystery birds' in my latest episode as you're a keen birder yourself 😁
@ working my way that way! Once I get there I’ll leave a comment with my thoughts 🔥
Awesome find, you are really nailing the challlenge of finding every creature in the UK
This was definitely a good episode for crossing off some species! I have some exciting creatures that I'll be trying to track down soon too...
Like the quick collage of shots at the opening. The turnstone is well named!
Yes a solid name for sure, much like woodpecker, does what it says on the tin

What other amphibians do you have in the Netherlands that aren't in the UK?
@@CreatureChroniclesUK Acctually I think their aren't any. All amphibians we have here you guys also have, if im not missaken
I didn't think we had fire salamanders but a quick Google suggests there's 10-20 pairs... They'll be easy to track down then 😂
@@CreatureChroniclesUK Yh ppretty rare

Thank you bro! How do you tell them apart from common frogs? I don't suppose the frogs I filmed could have been marsh frogs?
I recently found a little newt myself for the very first time! It was just hiding under some mushrooms that I was picking
That's cool, do you know which kind it was?
@@CreatureChroniclesUK We only have two species here in Northern Scandinavia, and only one where I live, so it was Lissotriton vulgaris
Don’t touch that newt and they are fully protected
Yeah it's a good thing I didn't pick it up...
