I hate the fact that it's all reused/recycled dialogue when in this instance it is mandatory for a rivalry as big as this one to be unique. I mean Aquaman killed his father and Black Manta killed his son for fuck sake.

I went back to MKX and while they aren't all unique you can tell they took a lot more care with DLC characters intros

same with flash and professor zoom especially zoom he hates flash so much he was willing to die just to cause flash misery in flashpoint

Man I've never been a big fan of Black Manta but this game makes him look so badass!

It does become fatigue-inducing when you hear recycled dialogue.

Given Manta's track record in the comics of feeding Arthur lies purely to screw with his head, I'm half suspecting this "grieving son avenging his father" thing to all be just another act. Like, the "son" is just the original Black Manta, who had his face altered or whatever to appear younger than he really is.
Why Does Aquaman Hates Black Manta?
That and Black Manta in return killed Aquamans son.
