As long as you have around 10 or 12 veteran soldiers accompany your snipers, no spawning from the buildings can kill them, they shoot so fast and hard that they kill everything near them nearly automatically. I generally set my soldiers to clear things by proximity and my snipers to kill by threat level, that way my soldiers hold the line while my snipers instant kill harpies, fat infested, and the puking ones. With that setting you don't need to micromanage them or even many troops, i start clearing once i got 20 free soldiers and snipers 12/8, never lose them.

A PHALANX is the best formation for towers, it spreads the giants round the sides and stop them all attacking one area and gives you more time to ware them down. SOMEONE TEACH HIM WAR STRATEGY.
I was thinking man, rather than see you do the huge turtle thing and then blow it all up a the end to give the wave a chance, it’d be cool to see you use more of a tiered and layered approach, too see how far they can penetrate. You do you though man!
I like going a few days not watching youtube, and the coming back to find that Kibitz has updated 2-3 vids. Is it his charming yet stern voice, or his lackluster concern for our beloved Soldiers? Who knows. All I know is that East is right, and West is left. :-D
hey imkibiz i made a new map called clearing them mountain pass and the goal overall is to clear as much of the map before day 30 and it is hard to setup a base and it gets harder if you make a mistake there are ways a master can break the map but i wonder how well you will deal with this final wave not the hardest but a huge pain trust me you will enjoy it
I really like this game but I always find the final wave underwhelming. No matter what map you play if you get to the final wave you've basically won. I feel they need a stronger zombie that only comes at the final wave. Like a tank zombie. As fast as a harpy, as much health as a giant, can one hit buildings and when it dies it explodes doing damage to everything around. Now that would be interesting. Hope the campaign has some interesting events.
under what diff? because the trouble in the game comes more by the terrain and the "cleaning" of the area in time, than surviving the final round... if you find it too easy you are playing with too many days to final wave or with just too low zombie population.
is it even worth putting snipers in towers when you have that many? wont you be better off just grouping them up past the wall so they are closer together and more are in range to shoot at a time?
well yeah, the towers have higher range but they are more spread out so fewer snipers are in range at a time. my is that having the wall, then a 3 tile thick wall of standing snipers with towers of snipers behind them would be the best use of space.
@@IamTristanC maybe on this map, but the towers are very nice to keep your army alive... on a tower-wall-tower-wall-etc configuration you can "teleport" units on one tower to the next one, so when your first layers go to hell you still can move all your troops back. So 4 example you could pause the game give orders and move all your units on towers one tower back in no-time
i don't get it i swear this is not the same version as the one on the workshop 10 attempts so far still can't beat it last night was my best attempt yet i had the whole map filled by day 65 . 2152 snipers 161 rocket guys and 61 titans and hundreds of turrets and still lost
@@ImKibitz yeah i don't get it i posted it on the map makers page and he pointed me to you i was like i watched his video and did it even more . i had only a few small plots open the rest of the map was covered full up graded i can't play it any other way no room left to add anything with the time given

You need to reach a place on the western part of map to win. On the Northeastern part of this map have hidden quests
I tried it out but it has voice logs that play that are too loud and are not in my native language, so I won't be playing it.
I really like this game but I always find the final wave underwhelming. No matter what map you play if you get to the final wave you've basically won. I feel they need a stronger zombie that only comes at the final wave. Like a tank zombie. As fast as a harpy, as much health as a giant, can one hit buildings and when it dies it explodes doing damage to everything around. Now that would be interesting. Hope the campaign has some interesting events.

By not letting the zombies pass. There is no such thing as intern infection, you need a zombie to destoy a tent, in order to infect it.
harpies use to be the kind of mob you dont notice until is too late (they jump walls)
