That's not Brian Shaw squatting the car
Scam
Brian is not only one of the strongest men that ever lived, he is insultingly nice. He will stay after contests for HOURS to sign autographs & take pictures. He started his own Strongman contest, paying for the guys from overseas out of his own pocket. He never has a disparaging word to say about anyone, and every Strongman on earth pro and professional has nothing but respect and admiration for him. He should definitely be on the podcast.
He is also articulate! I think he would be a delight to listen to. Gently-spoken, considered and wise, he's an ideal guest
Insultingly nice lol

There is a story Brian tells in his earlier videos that him and his wife were going out to dinner, he saw a car accident. The woman was trapped in the car. Brian literally ripped the door off the car to free the lady.

I met Brian shaw a Europe strongest man when he guest appeared, the scale of him doesn’t set in until you’re next to him, easily the biggest guy I’ve ever seen in my life. He genuinely makes everyone look like a toddler
Met him in 2019 too. I'll never forget the moment I saw him: I was 10ft away sitting speechless because he looked like a Kodiak bear. But the most impressive Strongman I saw that day was JF Caron: dude is literally a tank and his traps looked like freaking hills.

@@bruhmania7359lol hell no. That dutch is only tall. He is no a strongman. Brain would tear him apart with one hand

@@fatninja9823bless you
@@Lee-ic2yn Depends. Each has their own strengths. Thor the biggest Deadlifter EVER, and arguably more athletic than the other two. But Shaw has the edge on Thor in Statics (only just). Zydrunas the strongest out the three when it comes to statics and overheads, but not as strong athletically.
I'd say peak Thor was the strongest guy ever to have lived BUT it was a short peak, just 2 years, before he got dragged into that boxing debacle.
I reckon Thor could have Deadlifted 520kg on the day he did 501kg. Now we will never know, since his peck tear is game over for him breaking records now.

Real fairytale would have been picking up his 5th WSM title too, but that sadly wasn't even vaguely in the cards after that insane stone off with Rauno
@@scottmacgregor3444 yeah and not to mention the rain delay that completely screwed him. He had to start with his worst event rather than his best event on the first day of the finals. One of the greatest athletes of all time, when you stop and think about it...
Brian Shaw's signature BJJ move is he just rolls on top of you and Gravity takes care of the rest.
Yep. There's no way to deal with that much weight no matter your skill level
Given the dude's hand size grip strength, I suspect his best tactic would be grab something and squeeze until the other guy taps.
@@bruceleroy8063Gordon Ryan didn’t seem to have any issues with Thor or Martins when they grappled 🤷🏻♂️
@@bruceleroy8063I have a feeling he could break some bones with just his hands... His grip strength is leaps and bounds ahead of the next best strongmen. If he gets my hand or forearm and squeezes, my bet will be on his hand winning.
@@Sorted906True, but it's hard to tell whether the outcome would be the same if neither were worried about injuring the other. Ryan is extremely careful in those bouts, and so are the strongmen. Plus, Ryan is a freak of nature within the BJJ world.
Shaw is literally build different. That man is peak human performance.
Brian rolled with porier (or some other ufc guy) and they each tapped each other out once. The thing is though, Brian is a really gentle guy, and if you know anything you can tell he’s being really careful the whole time not to pull or push too hard. I think if Brian tried his hardest he would have won easily. This guy can pick up a teenager by placing one hand on the TOP of his head. He could easily grab and crush any part of anyone.
I remember seeing that, it was very interesting and entertaining. But in reality I think Brian would crush that guy within seconds. He obviously was taking it easy, they both were.

Still I doubt too many can handle a man of his size. Heavyweight fighters such as boxers and mma fighters would destroy him though.
We seen how terrible Thor and Eddie Hall were.

I can't wait to see the photo of Brian Shaw holding Joe Rogan like a baby. But yeah, Brian is the closes thing to sasquatch since Andre the Giant..he's just built different. His proportions are unique along with his strength and size, high hips and huge wingspan with flexibility and grip strength that's one of the strongest ever.
Yeah those ultimate strongmen are an enigma. Brian Shaw’s good buddy was asked if he could ever shred down to a six pack, guy pulls up his shirt & HE HAS A FCKING SIX PACK, dude is still over 300lbs easily & his abs are so fcking huge they’re still visible, guy in the vid said they’re as hard as a normal shredded dudes six pack would be too, it’s mind blowing to me
That's Eddie Hall. My guess is that he did way too much Human Growth Hormone and that blew out his stomach permanently like that. A young Eddie Hall actually had a very trim waistline.
Eddie halls six pack truly is an anomaly of science lol
Strongmen are a different breed. They can crush a head with their bare hands but are possibly the nicest, mist humble guys ive seen in any sport.
Imagine if Joe Rogan didn't allow his ego to get in the way then he can actually have Brian Shaw on his podcast.

@@Sorted906I can see your point, but pitting anyone against a world class heavyweight as an amateur would yield the same results 99% of the time. Put them against a newer heavyweight that doesn’t have any titles
Yeah and MMA doesn't consider physical strength just bodyweight.
how?
@Sorted906 under boxing rules pretty sure since Mike would be way too fast.
In a full contact sport I'd guess double the weight and strength play more of a role. Don't know if you could keep the distance for a full 5 rounds?
Strongest Man on Earth.
There's a great episode of strongmen on the History Channel where several strongmen try to move a brass cannon. Half of them could barely lift it. One guy, I think it was Nick Best, got dizzy trying to pick it up. Brian Shaw shouldered the cannon and carried it off the field.
Brian in not only the strongest man in the world, but also the nicest. I had a conversation with the gym owner once and he said all the strongmen he met were extraordinarily nice. he said, if you KNOW you're one of the strongest men in the world, you won't feel the need to be a dick.
The best part about Brian - he's a gentle giant and a real down to earth guy, unlike some other strongmen.
Im glad hes doing well...hoping my advice helped him get through "that barrier", & get this far.
He is one of the most humble people I've ever met in my life.
Brian Shaw was going on holidays and came on a car crash 10 minutes from his house. He got out of his truck to see if he could help. He was told a woman was trapped inside the car but she was alive and conscious... so Brian being Brian.... ripped the car door off.
Brian is the man !
Putting Shaw into any kind of submission is probably the best way to get hurt 😂
I've heard People say that shaking hands with Brian will make you run for your life, it's gonna feel like you're shaking hands with solid piece of rock
Hes like Arnold if Arnold was a titan and also not an asshole.
Pretty arrogant statement
The thing with Brian is that he’s also hella flexible. Not just flexible for his size, just straight up flexible. He’d be amazing at BJJ
"But im 460 bro" that man is 200lb over the ufc heavyweight limit.
Shaw is also a class act
We may get our chance to see Brian roll. He's training MMA 😮

Brian is a super nice guy and would never fight someone. If you put his size and strength on a vicious street fighter, he would wipe the floor with Brock Lesnar and everyone else in the UFC. That much power can smash a normal sized person in seconds.
im sorry but you are wrong, first off all size doesn't dictrate how powerful your strikes are, someone like brian can lift a lot but if he were to throw a punch it would be too slow to generate any power. brock lesner would obliterate him in a fight, he has a enough size to actually use Grappling against brian because not only is he big and strong as well but he has the skill in grapping but a fight against brian wouldn't use grappling it would be the fighter using striking, brian wouldn't be able to grab a competant fighter because he is too slow. he would gas out pretty fast in the video where he spars with a mixed martial artist he was gassed out pretty quicly. striking force is mass x accelration not mass but mass x acceleration as such a study done of olympic boxers showed the featherweights had the most powerful strikes
@@houseofaction Have a featherweight fight Deontay Wilder and let me know how that works out for the featherweight. A featherweight does not hit harder than a heavyweight. Not even close.
@@houseofaction Jorge Masvidal started out as a street fighter. If you put Brian's size and strength on a pre MMA Masvidal, he would annihilate trained martial artists. A skilled street fighter is essentially a martial artist-fyi

When big guys take up martial arts . 😂😂😂 good luck
Brian over 400 but moves like 200😂 good luck trying to bring him to the ground
he actually doesn't move like he is 200 lbs he is pretty slow and gases out pretty fast, Tim Sylvia showed you can take big guys down pretty easily when he fought Mariusz pudinawski but a grappler would avoid going to the ground with him. they would simply outstrike him which would be a definitive win because there is no way brian can strike with the same force as a trained boxer, kickboer as mass x accelration determines striking force@@Saum990
