The last one standing becomes the next ruler. And she has a lot of siblings. But they all also possess a special skill, they can feed a drop of blood(they changed it in this anime to a flame instead) to their servants to make them immortal, but they must eat a drop of their blood every day of their life and they cant harm the ones whose blood they have eaten. The boy who keeps getting dragged around by the princess is her only immortal servant, and whose only use is to be a meat shield. The girl in the baggy pants are a half-werewolf, the dark haired school girl is a vampire and the little maid is a powerful android(everyone one of the kings children got one). It is a comedy with some dark elements to it. The princess, whose name is Hime btw, favored weapon is the chainsaw
I'd recommend it, it's every classic monster/ horror story regardless of quality mashed into one world the manga. It's not deep or grandiose, but it's a fun halloween-y ride.

ALI PROJECT really dominated the 00s. I try to watch anime of that time and there's always and opening or an ending for her. I'm not complain, love hearing her specially during halloween time

There's a few other anime openings/endings they made, such as for Rozen Maiden, Code Geass, Shigofumi and like a dozen other ones. Really great music, I gotta say and a lot of interesting anime as well.

The show is a Action/Horror/Romance/Comedy. But it's definitely worth watching but at the same time the anime only goes so far and you'd have to read the Manga just to get the rest of the story. In English it's called Princess Resurrection

Last one standing gets the throne, and they must do it all before they reach adulthood(it is explained why much later in the anime, so I will not spoil)
god i feel so OOOOOOOOLD i watched some of this anime as a kid and i only remembered a few details so i could never find it again one of the main things i remembered was this ending and for the longest time i thought it was the opening i have to give this a rewatch sometime soon, one of the earliest "obscure" anime i watched
And suffering jesus it was horrible... such stupid characters with none exsistent story... I get that its an old anime but come fucking on it came at the same time as gurran laggan and while naruto, one piece, d grey man, hitman reborn, kenichi, gintama, death note, code geass and hell even srg kerero were all airing
This is very different from the manga, the manga has more comedy and a more structured plot, the anime just slows it down by taking 1 chapter and making it a 22 minute anime. @@RODFLOP
I bought a cd of this back in late 2000s, I was a kid then and loved animated series and I thought "How pretty" the princess is. Then I got traumatized by that episode where they walked onto a village and no-clipped on the time when it was lurked around by a serial killer decades ago until the death toll increased and the village was submerged by waters. The atmosphere they gave on that whole episode terrified me yet I still eagerly watched it. 😂🥹
