This same square I visited last month. Although I am a Chinese but once I stepped near the dancing arena, I got dancing partner immediately. Xin Jiang and Xi Zang people are most welcoming, kind and sincere people in my opinion.

That is Urumqi city in East of Xinjiang has only 11% are Urghurs. The others are chinese and "Hui" who are chinese speaking Muslim. The majority Urghurs are live in west of Xinjiang. "Hui" and Urghurs are very different.
