If using Threadlock for motor height screw: apply half droplet to threads of adjustment screw. Using non-absorbing material spread the very small amount of Threadlock each direction. It does not have to go all the way around adjustment screw. Let dry without installation. Once dry, install. This will keep the screw from vibrating out, but will allow easy removal with a screw driver. Don't stab yourself with the screwdriver.

I’ve had 2 Double Bells and they’ve both been fantastic. Ran my Mk12 Mod 0 yesterday (DMR’d out - granted its only got a V2 not a V2.5) and literally everyone was admiring the rifle. Rock solid. £110 + a bit of work and its launching 0.45g BBs a very long way. Some of the most fun I’ve had in a long time.
My double bell SR25, very good price for a base project, externally it feels very good and you actually get the 2.5 gearbox unlike the G&G which costs double the price!
I just bought the sr25 I bought a kythera from a thrift store for $9.99 and saw this video when it came out saw how good the externals are and evike had them on sale for $212 + the $20 discount code just had to do it.then... watched astkilo's review and he gave the sr25 a 1/10 now I'm scared I hope I don't get a lemon like he did
@@seanmccann1691 You'll need to either replace the sector gear or cut down the cylinder to stop it being hit by stock sector gear, apparently all double bell V2's have this issue
Have a Double Bell M16A4 It's pretty good, got it for about £160 at the time. Was after an M16A4 on the cheap and for some reason Cyma ones weren't in stock in most places. Took a gamble, but it was worth the purchase.
It is so insane how good these cheaper aegs are nowdays. I bought S&T ump9 from taiwangun for about 170 € and it has even etu with very good internals. Like 10 years ago it was normal to change parts here and there with cheaper aegs.
I am at the point, where using the knowledge (and sarcasm 😘) I have learned here, I buy boneyard replicas l like the externals of. Then l crack it open, dump out the gearbox, and go from there. My most recent one, is a JG G36, that is so quiet, the players next to me cannot hear it fire.
Aliexpress had a lot of their airsoft stuff nuked sadly. There used to be a couple of really good stores on there but from what I can find there's only one; "AEG Handguard Store" but they don't have an L119A2 handguard. I'd love to get my hands on one too.

For a full length Cyma M14 with an M115 spring, should I use a 455 6.02mm inner barrel in it? Or is it too short for the outer barrel? Would a 510mm inner barrel work or would it be too short?
All DB have same internals, steel gears, steel bearings, dual o-ring aluminun piston head that doesnt fuck up the airseal, with bearings full rack steel piston, aluminun nozzle with o-ring, QD spring guide with bearings, bolt open feature, motor tower with bearings.... The only thing i dont like is the wiring and the hop up chamber, easy fix.
So In the US I was only able to find 1 place that sells the tt gen12 it was $200 and evike sells the cheaper m4 for $152 honestly for $48 more dollars I would rather get the tt gen12
If you wanted the L119a2, the time it would take you to source all the extra parts, sell your old parts, fit all the parts, buy tools to fit the parts if you don't have them, or to pay for labour and wait for someone else to fit them if you don't have the skills to do it yourself, and have the risk that the aftermarket parts aren't the best quality/ don't fit, it's probably worth to just to spend the extra £125
I personally prefer if airsoft manufacturers didn't put ETUs in the gun or just used basic in line mosfets. Maybe i need to get over myself but i find it hard to trust any airsoft gun manufacturer to not scrimp on electronics.
So people complain that a shotgun, that can shoot slugs, shoots a single shot. Yet when a shotgun does fire 3 shots (tm aa12) they complain about range. How about no. How about we like nice things. That being said I do like High Capas.
Double eagle also makes a optical mosfet called the falcon. You get the snappy trigger like the perrun but you do not get all the extra bells and whistles. The double eagle falcon will only cost you $30 though. Amazing value
TM aegs aren't worth the price. There I said it. Maybe their ngrs, never used one of them, but normal aegs, not worth it. And I'll go as far as to say neither are the majority of their gbbs
One thing I noticed while looking at $100 real steel optics vs airsoft optics while looking for a good hunting scope. Im not using an air rifle scope the size of a baby's dick on a bolt action or dmr. I want my gun to look correct. I noticed price ≠ quality. In airsoft anything goes. I can get a gun that's better than an ares for cheaper and easy to fix. My de was 250 with an eshooter kestrel pre installed. Never had an issue and of course it's going to work. They don't make that one anymore. Unfortunately I think it was a limited run but they still make the exact same gun with the falcon etu in it $200. Ares is $300. Only argument for ares is externals but same with g&p who has absolute fairy magic externals and no proprietary parts. Same with LCT and VFC. In fact I'd ironically buy a g&p m14 to hpa it. You need the volume to hop heavy ammo. Undervoulumed guns will have power dropoff even without the hopup set. As regular aeg's. Except VFC although only shooting Marui power in the UK, the performance leaves a lot to be desired. Vfc's are some of the best ootb but LCT and g&p are no better than a cyma or g&g raider 2.0. not even the 2.0e. don't know why everyone is starting with the gen 1 when the gen 2 is $10 more.

Cyma full size M14's inner barrels are 500mm. You could use a 550mm and it'll be just at the end of the flash hider, but I would stick with a 500mm.
