Getting to play around with these old devices makes you realize how boring the current phone market is.
Would you like to see a video explaining why phones are so boring these days?
Yes absolutely!
Yes

Yes
Nokia's Symbian feature phones were awesome back in the day. The 6600, NGage QD, and this one were the most popular here. Personally, I didn't quite like the design of the 7610.
The best thing about these phones are the ability to install 3rd party Symbian and Java applications. I still remember PowerMp3 player, Splinter Cell, Rally and numerous more.
Back when every phone was unique... In terms of design and software 😅
now they all look the same 😴
@@TheOneWithTheSling ikr 😆
I agree, and i wanted to highlight the software you have mentioned because even the apps nowadays have to somewhat follow the overall GUI of the phone's OS or manufacturers' skin for it to be more looking standard and uniform which is pretty boring, compared to before when you still get quite excited when you install programs/games/applications because it felt as though you are being introduced to a different dimension that's totally different from Symbian's built in apps and general UI. creating apps back then must be more fun and more flexible.
These retro reviews makes me want to purchase old Nokia phones for nostalgia and use it as a backup phone. Phones back then have more personality than the slabs we have today.
As a Nokia E90 user and a retro phone collector, I encourage others to do the same
@@bwoah7 I want to start collecting old phones, what phones do you suggest me to start my collection with?
@@georgefotiadis3787the classic Nokia 6600 first definitely
Back in 2005, one of my high school classmates used it, and I was dreaming to have it too.
Same
Come back Nokia, we need you sooo much
MY FIRST PHONE! Takes me back to 2006 instantly! Man this channel is a treasure trove! You sir, have earned my sub!
Man, this phone in white with golden accent is beautifull ❤
Indeed!
This was my father's phone. He used it from 2005 to 2017 :) It is a beautiful smart phone. I used to install different apps and games on it.
By the way this phone can play any music and MP4, Avi with other apps... I remember Ultra MP3 was a famous music player
Woah, he kept it for that long? Amazing. Such dedication
@@amplifiedpoop He dropped the phone on the stone and it was broken. It was looking fresh even in 2017. Just some of buttons were difficult to press.
This brings back incredible memories! I miss my 7610!
I feel nostalgia every time I see one of your "retro reviews". We really had a lot of fun with every new design, both hardware and software-wise.
Trust me, playing around with these old devices is the best part in what I do! New phones are so unimaginative.
@@AbdullaZaki i guess it's the same in every industry. Just look at the car market, the same story there. You can experiment for a while but sooner rather than later you just settle for profits.
@@mgkole I think its much worse with phones. At least with cars, you still have choice between SUV, sports car, Off roader, cross over, minivan, etc based on your needs. With phones its one mold fits all.
Great to see these designs from the past. Today all smartphones are so similar. I like the 7610. When I watch your videos I always think of the phones I had myself at the time.
Which phones from that time period were your favourite? :)
Most funny fact : nokia 7610 is still working in 2023 😂😂😂
yes for poor people who can’t afford touchscreens
@@jindraw8435as second phone, primary ofc ios or android.
@@jindraw8435Or for people who love fun.
This is one of the best nostalgic video for me. This was one of the top ends phone which I got on my birthday.. Dad's birthday present. It was stolen from my room in university when I was sleeping and I was so upset. It taught me an important lesson in life of how to take care of things. I wish I could have had the pleasure of using this a bit more as it was so special for me.
Man, this makes me sad. Its always so painful losing something you like.
Yeah.. Especially when you have longed for it.. I couldn't sleep for some days then.. Taught me an important lesson though... Never lost a phone, wallet or key after that until now.... 😀😀
Awesome times. Phones should have stayed like that. The excitement has been lost nowadays .Maybe the foldables will bring back some of that..
OMG this one is such an iconic smartphone. Nokia 7610, Nokia 6600, Nokia 3230, Nokia 6630, etc can easily be said as the true definition of innovations and is the reason why modern day iPhones & Samsungs exist. Because without them there would be no Samsung or no iPhone of today would've existed.
I will try and cover the rest of them here too :D
@@AbdullaZaki Super excited!
This, N-gage, and Xpress music. Damn. What a powerhouse Nokia used to be.
Good times
The phone is in brand new condition. I wish we could have it here. Though I love to watch this on your channel. Thank you for the video.
Glad you enjoy it!
actually nokia 7610 was my first phone and i really love it and nokia n73 both are the best really !
The best and very cool 7610! ♥️
Oh I remember this very well. Back in 2007 my friend had this phone while I was using its sister S60 nokia 3230, and the third sister nokia 6600 was still considered the best flagship nokia had that time until Java came along and changed the business for a couple of years in India. I remember seeing this phone and it was a work working on this phone for some time coz of its layout. But back when nokia was so innovative in layouts for their different handsets, you are right brother, 7610 stood out as one of a kind. Thank you for bring that nostalgia for me now 15 years back.🙏🥰
one of the most iconic nokia phone design
Was missing your retro reviews... Loved to see it back... Keep it coming...
And yes please use it for daily drive ... You will feel good ...
Used this gemstone for 4-5 years...My favourite phone with buttons - a really cool looking and functional accessory 🍻
Good luck, great reviews
Very nice to see it. I too have it still and will try tomorrow and send you the photos.
Thanks ❤ for Video 😊
This phone still with me ❤️
I had this in white and gold - absolutely loved it
I used to have one of this back in the day when I was 17 yo, it was awesome
I miss the old Nokia phones (and days)
My final thoughts on nokia symbian is that HDMI should rework on these devices likes E series and N series they should bring back these devices with redesign and new OS
It's will look trash as they will try to add a modern ashtetic look in the ui
I'm still had my Nokia n70 and Nokia 6680 and still working and effective on rural areas which the signal is still stronger for emergency calls..
They are amazing!
Back in my college days my classmate had this phone and i was extremely envious
My first phone 🥺🥺! It feels soo good to see it back again. I had the blue one and it was soo pretty and I loved it.
Nokia 7610 my first smartphone.
I have this mobile this is my first Nokia Smartphone i purchased this mobile in 2008 and its pricy. I have soo many memories with this device use it all day long even when connected to charging i remember when im playing games on it its my first gaming experience.
I remember when i was in college, this was the last phone i had..
So nostalgic, that was the time when we're not too busy to always look/hold at our phone..
If you wanna have fun, get a Nokia N900! That device is so versatile, it can be a phone, a tiny laptop, game console connected to a TV, it can emulate Palm OS or the Palm Pre line of phones, or run a full fat desktop Linux OS connected to a TV with a bluetooth mouse.
btw I already made a video for the Nokia N900, do check it out and let me know what you think. I loved it
my fave phone back in day😍
I used to own one. I absolutely loved it.
So many memories, had this in pink ! This was my very first phone ever in my life 💞
This is my dream phone in that time,, its 25000 rs was in that time in india, i cant even think about that in that time,,, childhood memories😍
I wish phones are like this nowadays 🥺
One of my favourite design phone
I love these Nokia phones, everytime i see them in action i feel very nostalgic, btw can u cover nokia c5-00, it was such a great and sleek device
I will try!
@@AbdullaZaki thank you Mr. Abdulla
I have a sony ericsson c905 and a nokia 5610 , for sure it was a legendary era 😍
Hi, great video. I am time to time using my old golden Nokia 3650 like the second phone and also still works well. :) Still thinking to buy some Nokia 6310i or even 6600 to take with me in my free time. To be available with no addiction on web, social media etc.
Brilliant, Hell Yeah ,Daily Driver Please !!!! The Nokia Glory Days!!
You guys will kill me haha
Nokia should Relaunch it as they are already doing it with other models.
Hi Abdullah THE Great! I had THE White/Gold version! One of My favorite Nokias! Awesome design! Cool One megapixel camera! But slow in action in every aspect! Like many Nokias but affectionwise nice One of Nokias most Beautiful phones
Gold and white was very nice, but I chose to get this one instead because it looks more funky haha
This was my first Symbian OS Nokia phone.
Enjoyed playing Bluetooth games with my friends before. Men, nostalgic.
Lock 'n' Load 2 was such a blast.
Almond phone i was playing lock n load ,sky force ,BIA games on it remembers me of school days 🥰
Saw this for the first time at Jackie Chan's Police Story. I remember at that time when you have these kind of phones, you are considered a filthy rich human being.
Ramadan Kareem ya Mr Nokia Abdullah! Love your videos, regards from Abu Dhabi.
Please review a Nokia N-Gage or the N-Gage 2.0 capable phones, many will love that especially me!
Ramadan kareem :D I will try
السلام عليكم امتلك مثله تماما نوكيا الدمعة جميل جدا
I always wanted one of this
The major weakness for me was the lack of stereo music support
I rmb it's a common problem for Nokia S60 smartphones until 6680
Symbian was so fragmented. I think the feature was available on another Symbian phone that came before the 7610 if I'm not mistaken.
@@AbdullaZaki N-Gage? Not sure about it
I was looking into it and apparently it isn't a symbian device. The Nokia 7250i had stereo audio using the same port
My first phone, and i really miss it
Please cover Nokia 7650, that phone is so nostalgic for me
My mum had this beauty. I passed my time most of my childhood playing some games in this. A quiz game cum snake and ladder was lit. Good ol times.
Thats what I love about making these videos, it takes me back to much simpler times!
0:46 I can't unsee that.
Wow...that is a crazy looking device! LOL...but Nokia sure took risks with the design, bit never skimped on the quality. Wow! Remember this one!
This was my love
My father used to own one of these.
I think we still have it somewhere in our house.
I love the icons, which look retro even for the 2000's.
They look like 90's Windows icons.
Nice 🤩🤩
My dad had one of this. I used it afterwards for sometime
Wow, i had this phone i used to call it mango phone and playing games was fun on it. Gives back nostalgia 😌
Mango, fitting name!
NOSTALGIA ❤❤❤
Most popular with nickname "Nokia Daun"(Nokia Leaf) among users in Malaysia once time ago... i also have it... ❤
These is the first phone i ever had... Nokia love you...😪
This was my first phone. It got stolen a few years ago and I bought a used one just for nostalgia
For mp3 playback the UltraMP3 by Lonely Cat Games was the best with clear sound but we preffered some other app called simply MP3 Player which could crank the volume of music much more than the phone's speaker was capable of.
Old good days. This was my first cellphone wayback 2008. 🤣
Back when phones had hardware creativity. This and Nokia Ngage were amazing.
I miss Symbian OS in my E72. Your right, phones aren't "fun" anymore. The 7610 was a "fun" phone for sure!!!! 🤓🤓
I wanna cover the E72 on my channel one day :)
@@AbdullaZaki That would be super as it was an awesome phone!!!!!!👍👍💙💙
Allways a favourite phone! Thanks to its design!🤗

Nokia team has really good designer since then 🎉
Nice phone. But, no way to use it today. I have my E6 Nokia but only as morning alarm. :)
Nice video, brings a lot of memories.
do you know if the camera can still be used without a SIM card? 😅
I had this one .
Please use it as a daily driver, it will definitely be an eye catcher
Miss these old phones
I used this phone in my college days of 2015
Those were the days... My last Nokia was the E71 and it was a beast.
Did you see my Nokia E71 video? :D
@@AbdullaZaki No, I've not seen that video.
My fvrt ...till date
My uncle still has this phone.
I have used this nice phone ☺️
Missing my college days…
Is this phone available now because I love it and want to buy one like it????
Yes you should try using it.
sure you have to. i redo using Nokia 5310 XpressMusic as my secondary phone while back then as my primary phone😎
My 1st symbian phone 😍
Got stolen😥
& you have to install a patch file to play mp3s & set them as ringtone
Or use ultramp3/lcg jukebox
2 things hamper the cell phone design today, all screen front display and the crave for ever thinner phone (funny thing is that people just avoid Oppo R5 back then for it's thinnes phone around 4.5mm). The design can only goes so far with this limitation
We need different form factors again!
@@AbdullaZaki yes indeed, only guessing the next big thing the people want equals to the next headache
Brilliant Beautiful Design , And Million Times Better Looking Than Todays Phones which Are Bland Design All Looks Same , These were the Good Times .
Use it! Passion vs Business
Dont forget, it has alot of customise backdoor, my favourit is spiderman theme
Please Abdullah do a comparison video between lumia 920 and 1020 about their history , weight , dimension
I will try :D
