indeed, i made a mistake and gave the ceska piece perfect glass aswell when it should be normal glass, whoopsie. fixed it in the sheet, and as it should be sacrifice is the actual right choice overall over ceska for the glass+coyote setup. should have cross referenced my own sheet from pts as i would have spotted the error that way, because there the order was in favour of the sacrifice there. thanks for pointing it out.
Thanks for fixing.Wondering BLB would be better for when engaging cause a couple of stacks should be good for initial when you don't have gearset stacks we get free reload on swap as well
That was always the flaw, pointed out from the start. And the bigger the mag, generally the worse it is and harder to "dump" in the buff window. They should just let you roll stacks.
Try it with dread edict 2 pc brazos one being picaros ninjabag spotter or glass cannon chest and 3pc breaking point you get good armor and huge buffs dread edict gets 15 round mag which is decent and dumps quick. Use spotter drone and sharp shooter if you go spotter and use decoy. Other wise be squishy and use what you want but you get so much armor. I just ran crit and I was getting decent numbers.
@@ThePhOeNiX86 that is not a good setup. You're missing a ton of bonuses by using ninja with 2 of the same brand AND a gear set. The extra 50% mag size is only giving you 5 extra rounds, which is only 15% weapon damage during the damage window. If you had 1p hotshot, you'd have 30% weapon damage plus a weapon handling. Keep in mind also that you're using an MMR for xrit instead of headshot so you're missing out on lot of damage there. Also, to put breaking points into perspective, the Rifleman talent would give you 50% weapon damage that you could keep up for the whole fight, which is more than the 45% you'd get from the gear set talent.
I've found Lucky Shot to be a fantastic talent for keeping more control of the On Point stacks; when misses don't deplete your mag, you're almost guaranteed to get at least close to max stacks every time.
Breaking Point really excited me as I enjoy the Ravenous quite a bit. from testing and napkin maths, however, it seems that the game considers the Ravenous to only have 30 (technically 31 because the max stacks seems to include bullet-in-chamber) as its max magazine size, effectively neutering the set's effectiveness specifically for that gun. That being said, two hits per trigger pull does still speed up stack count very quickly comparatively.
indeed, rav was my instant pick when i first saw the original patchnotes, but ran into the same, it is likely still one of the better picks for a chc/chd version though
Just curious if you tried Dr Holmes or the whisper riffle with your crit build brazen setup. I want to play atound wih the setup you showed when i finally get a chance to start playing this season
i did try out all the exotics, mostly in the pts, but some like the dr home, the vidicator and the ravenous i tried again since the real version with its improved 4%, but none really work out in my opinion. it ends up that you need around 25-30 stacks consistently to really get a buff out of the gear talent, and none of the exotics can really do that. the whisper overall is not a really great rifle, i tried the m16 with other talents and it didnt feel great for this ocompared to a acrss or mk17.
you can watch the conclusion timestamp, generally i recap the important, in this case, the set got a slight buff, but still not worth running generally, but usable if you like rifles as it is competitive with high end setups.
So I’m the first person too use the whisper with this think about it guys it’s a three round burst ! All there of them shots stack I have no problem stacking it’s fun as heck
Buff timer really should start at the END of the reload not at the start. 1886 eats like half the dump buff duration, which is stupid. Even in M1s the 2+ second reload is 20% of the base duration. Also the chest talent is criminal given the lack of good options for chest talents in general for rifles. If we had got perfect composure for the zoo named chest or back for 25%TWD that would have been a meta changer. Or perfect concussion at 15%/20% working with rifles for 5 sec initial hit duration would have been good too. Ah well.
Talents that alter the weapon handling periodically are bad. Steady handed like level of useless. Either a weapon handles bad or good doesn't matter you can get used to it as long as it's consistent but the sudden jump from good to bad after the buff expires is going to be really annoying especially on console without aim assist
i would disagree with steady handed being useless, i can agree it is jarring when it falls away but you can see it coming by paying attention to the counter on the weapon, i can see you point maybe with controller, but it is not a issue for kb/m especially if you train yourself for it. and this isn't like steady handed in this case, you know when it is going to change as it is after a reload or when the talent buff ends that it changes, so you don't go from one to the other right away, and with a little playing with these kind of talents you will get used to it.
So what It out of this is if you are a new player, then you can use any poor handling high RPM rifle you find and be within earshot of a high-end build. So without having invested that much time, the new player can step in and get things done in the game. Existing players can avoid... Like Glue is the real champ here. Amplified damage from Brazen, amp damage from Versatile BP 25/35 LZ/DZ when using SMG, and amp/twd chest talent of choice is criminal. Other sources of amp gear outside of chest/backpack include gear sets (e.g. HF, OD) and high ends contractors/fox's/hollow man/walker 2&3 piece. Super 90/Swap Chain Versatile is one of my DZ close range go to's. Adding a weapon amp outside sadist and flatline means there are no pre-requisites like bleed and pulse. Just hit the target. You don't get the first shot amp'd unless pre-stackrd, but that is a trade off one can make.
Hey Ikia I think you made a mistake in calculation ceska should be 25% amp not 30% at 15:45

Hey Ikia Im glad you are reviewing them. I havent been too satisfied with the other opinions out there.
YAS THIS IS WHAT WE NEEDED. Pretty much my take on my community post was that the bonus is nice, but the uptime is a huuuuge issue
That was always the flaw, pointed out from the start.

@d15p4tch6 how is it 15 if it's 2 percent perstack which is one bullet.
@@ThePhOeNiX86 I thought it was changed from 2% to 3% when it went live. If it's 2%, that's even worse, no?

Lucky shot is a chronically underrated talent in general.
Accuracy is never 100% in the real game.
Now we know, and knowing is half the battle.
Go Joe!
The other half is violence
G I JOOOEEEE!!!!

@@ikia thankyou for sharing all this info. I hope the devs revisit this set and make some impactful changes.
I heard from dod regone this is worse then high end rifle build. Any new info in this video ? Worth watching ?

For me personally they could speed up weapon swap speed across the board.
I'm not a shotgun guy but Perfect Brazen slaps with the Spas 12
I'm curious how regular brazen will work with the aa12
