05:10 She promble help you out a little. With both cars park on each sided of the road and her parked in middle of the road. Her getting out of the way helped you to get by easy and faster. If she stay you would have had to slow to walking pest pass her and parked car on you're side of the road.
4:32 Once again, ordinary average second-hand Australian traffic engineers. With a white line on one side of the lane(s) and a yellow line on the other side of *_every_* traffic-bearing public roadway in the nation, Wrong-Way Corrigan there would be able to *_instantly_* tell that he or she had turned onto the wrong side of the road. Piss-poor ground markings and a complete lack of One Way or Wrong Way signs at this particular intersection add to the local traffic engineers' litany of abject ineptitude, and the weird shape and proportion add to the disorientation of the driver doomed to negotiate this dire strait.
Congratulations, Traffic Engineers. Your failure is now complete.
I wonder how many head-on collisions will have to occur before anyone in the City Planning Department finally extracts their digit(s)?
It's a pity that the arched dotted line along the right side of the turning lane doesn't give any clues where the lane goes, for those who are driving in it.
