Bobby doesn't have the popularity to win a senate race. He has about 25% of the white-liberal/republican vote. RFK is not Bernie Sanders. RFK Jr has no chance.
All three are applying for the most important job in the country.
When the rest of us go to a job interview, we do not get to dictate the terms of the interview. By the same token, none of the candidates should be able to make demands about how the debate will be conducted or who will be included.

In fairness, we are given access to the candidates via internet. We don't have to wait for CNN to introduce them. But it's a very bad look for the duopoly, we can actually SEE THEM omitting viable candidates from their debates. Once again, they're ignoring the fact that third party and Independents make up the largest voting block and it would behoove them to cater to us. But oh well...
We do have access. It's a matter of people deciding for themselves who they actually want for President, and voting for that person no matter what. Once America finally learns that, we are good to go.
We need to have government sponsored debates. Unfortunately. If not, the parties will run the show and the only time you will see the candidates is if they say so.

I had the same thought. At least for all the people out there who recognize how wrong/shady it is that Kennedy is being excluded. Some percentage of folks have already made up their mind that they’re going to vote for one of the other two major candidates and there’s no changing their minds.

Theoretically, Kennedy getting excluded MIGHT lead to a small group of people looking into him. Him actually debating will definitely lead to him garnering support. That is why he will only get to debate if the people demand it. Thus far, he has yet to create enough momentum for that to occur. I am speaking as someone who currently plans to vote for him.

His problem is that corporate mainstream media won't give him fair access or coverage and the lawsuits are being filed against them for violating federal election law. It doesn't help Kennedy at all to make blanket statements about things that are patently false and a source of contention on top of it. Regardless of what good friends Kennedy and Blumenthal are, Bobby has refused to debate Max on the Palestine issue and you can't say that he hasn't. Lying about it and then getting called out for it isn't a way to win voters on Kennedy's side.

Most definitely. I am shocked, as recently I talked to a few folks about RFK Jr., and NONE of them even knew he was running. That's crazy. Needs to be the so-called "mainstream" media, which is now really legacy media, in order for RFK Jr. to break through with the many folks still stuck in the past in getting their news.
It should be on both. At least five or six debates should be the norm and not have all the controls in place that are demanded by any of the candidates.

That should tell people everything they need to know and the audacity of any elected official to think they should place "conditions" or "terms" on any debate is ridiculous.
