i guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my login password. I love any help you can give me!
O M Goodness....never seen someone loop like this. I notice the Andres Colin channel appears really varied and interesting. I immediately subscribed of course...Thanks!
Nice good job! I want to upgrade to voice live 3 extreme but I had enough trouble learning the VL3, for looping but when everything is laid out on a pedal board it's self explanatory I can see what he's doing.
This video is just what I've been looking for, thank you! I've got the RC-30 looper, but sadly haven't bonded with it. This provides the inspiration & focus to plug it back in and get it going. Nicely done, both of you!
This is the most useful Looping video I've seen and I've seen loads, it's quite amazing that almost all of the things he has on his board I have or am getting an equivalent, also, I was working on that exact Samba beat but was struggling to find an example, this is just what I needed, when you say 'Introduction to Looping' I thought you were going to say the same old stuff I've heard over and over but no, this vid is very detailed and he addresses most of the concerns I've been struggling to overcome on my own, as I say, it's uncanny that I have almost come to same conclusions, this video makes it clearer, thanks I am grateful.
it took me a while til i could even tackle the Boomerang III Phrase looper. But it would make wonders of possibilities for Andres' repertoire. I will do a video on it, now that i think of it..
THAT answers a question that has been burning for some time within my fevered brow, can pedals be used with an acoustic? Nailed that one down in style! My first experience with feedback with a piddly little 35W amp that blew me into the next room had me a little apprehensive of a second attempt of calmly plugging in my acoustic. But recurring thoughts of using a looper have not left. Very informative clip showing what can be done, the pitfalls, and solutions. Andres' stunning skill levels both with the instrument and the pedal-board was an education - Thanks again for the effort
That would be great to see the connexion used for pluging the mic either into the harmonizer and into the radial switch, and how does this talented guy plug his switch pedal into the looper?
Tip to Anders, TC Helicon's Voicelive 3 does all the things the the your pedals do (except Roland and smaller A/B switch). You can select witch instrument you loop.
Proudly Andres is one of the best musicians. I think Sean's channel's success is due to musicians like Andres. Way to go Andres! And Sean is a great musician too. This is a good example of synergy. Congrats to both. And must of all, keep playing!
I wonder what andreas thinks of the ditto x4 . some great features that I love like loop decay. saves having to keep taking loops off and there's loads of other original stuff he would appreciate. great demo Sean. man that dude can play
nick williams thanks nick! I never tried the ditto but I can say that I had a small looper with only one pedal before and quickly learned that it does not feel natural to click twice to stop the loop
Sean, just went on a 21 stop tour of Europe. The crowds were good,, Venus ok. But I wish I had that Box assortment with me. I have been missing something that must be it. Thank you for putting this up for us. damn good work,, great effects and my record label can go to Hell. Time for me to change over. Thank you Andre good work out.
Hi Sean. I really enjoyed your video. After looking at it I started to think about putting together a “rig” but let me explain something first. I have started to play guitar the last two years and have gotten serious about it. However I work full time and don’t have much opportunity to jam, which I think is a great way to practice and learn. That said, I thought it might be great to put together a couple of the pedals, devices to let me jam myself, so to speak. Sooooo, I was wondering if you could recommend some essential pieces to begin with. I already have a TV Flashback and chorus pedal. Thanks much on any advice or suggestions. John.
Thanks for reaching out! Of course it all depends on the type of music you play. I'm a fan of getting a multi-effects pedal to start, then you can get a taste of all types of effects to find out what you like, then you can make a more educated decision on what you're looking for next :)
great vid much enjoyed, you have a lot of great people/personalities in your life. Enjoy em, keep up the great vids. Tell Ian he's slackin ;) I love ian by the way(Not like in a man crush kinda way but just in a I really think he is a talented teacher and player and good souled person ;) ) That being said Ian is going to have to step it up ;) Ian, some positive feedback Seans starting to step it up, your gonna need to double your cute chicks with good voices video presence; and start hanging out at the local looper joint to meet some cool looper dudes to keep up ;) Or you could just do a dynamic duo Ian and Sean video together and post it on your page I bet Sean would do that for a good bud. On a serious note Andres Colin you are really talented brother. Love the sounds you create.
Sean I think you may be missing a trick with videos such as these. You should find a supplier for all of these things and link to it through an affiliate link. This way people can easily find this equipment to buy and when they do it through your link, you get a percentage. It doesn't cost the buyer any extra it's just commission on the sale the same as many shops do.
Hey Sean, been totally hooked on your Modes series. Then stumbled upon this vid. I have a Boss RC-30 and actually just picked up a Godin xtSA w/synth access. So a Roland Synth pedal will be in my future... But for now, I'm thinking about that Hotshot ABO... I am using a Bose T1 Tonematch with an L1 Compact. Looks like you're familiar with these. Anyway, do I need a Hotshot ABO or can I run my vocals through multiple channels on the Tonematch therefore allowing me the chance to essentially do that re-routing that you were talking about? I've been trying to wrap my head around how this could be done and I'm coming up dry. This channel is awesome. Really enjoying the way you present the theory that I always refused to sit down and learn! Cheers man!
Ryan Bonner hey man, here’s how I do it: My looper out signal goes to my mixer(Bose tonematch) input 1. My microphone goes to the AB switch. The ab switch has 2 outs. One goes to the looper’s micRophone’s input, the other goes directly to the mixer in input 2. That way I can with one click route my voice to either the looper, or to its own chanel in the mixer. This way, you can loop your guitar, as you keep singing, without your voice being recorded( or sometimes just crowd noice). This way you can also have a perfect eq in your voice and maybe have it louder than the volume you use for your mic in the looper. I don’t use the hotshot anymore as it went bad and had to be replaced a couple of times. I now have a xlr whirlwind ab switch. Check it out
Sorry to disagree with sean but I’m not a fan of small loop pedals like the ditto where you have to press twice to stop the loop. It will trough you off with the rhythm. I highly recommend the RC-30. I used to use the jamman but they would break every couple of months. The rc30 in the other hand it’s super reliable and well made
i have to agree w Andres - the RC-30 is a great beginner looper. I've had both the RC-30 and the Ditto. no contest. double clicking to stop the loop like u do on a ditto will drive u mad. esp if ur just learning how to use it. not worth the headache. u can get a good used RC-30 for about the same price as a new ditto. its worth it. if u dont like it, u can sell it for exactly what u paid for it, if u get it used. no skin off ur back. good sites to look for an RC-30: reverb.com, guitarcenter.com (they will send u used gear to ur door, or u can pick it up at ur local store), ebay and craigslist.
friendlywhiteguy I would agree that the RC-30 is probably the way to go. I love my old RC-20, I still hold onto it as a backup looper. You can get used ones on eBay for $125. RC-30s new are $300. More features on the RC-30.
really cool vid ! :-).. quick couple questions 1. you guys spoke of a 13 pin adapter for the guitar.. I searched on amazon for that but couldnt find it.. could you please point me in the right direction 2. is there a looper you recommend that has a "one-step" stop, that you recommend? I have the little ditto looper but it throws me off when I have to do a quick double tap to turn it off in the middle of playing a song... sorry so long winded.. and thanks for your vids! :-)
Thanks Jesse! The 13 pin adapter is something that is built especially into that Godin guitar, so to use it on a regular electric, you'll need to buy the Roland pickup. I think if I understand the question correct, you might want to look at the Boss RC-30.
Jesse Recker yeah the looper I have is good and reliable. I also can’t stand the double tap to stop. His guitar (a Godin) has has a standard guitar out for the acoustic guitar sound. The 13 pin output is a computerized output that carries the midi information for each string. That is a proprietary output designed to work specifically with Roland Guitar Synthesizers.
He said "That was to long". No, it was not long enough. I needed that to continue forever.
Don't give him a big head now!
Sean Daniel that’s what she said
too
its almost like you needed it to...l o o p
i guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account??

+Robert Kampman Man his show is pretty great too!

That would be great to see the connexion used for pluging the mic either into the harmonizer and into the radial switch, and how does this talented guy plug his switch pedal into the looper?
Really good vid, really enjoyed that.
Thanks so much!
Very fine Bruddah. I'd like to learn looping like how you do it. You make it loop so easy.
just mentioning RHCP made the video for me, but even then he's still an amazing musician
Tip to Anders, TC Helicon's Voicelive 3 does all the things the the your pedals do (except Roland and smaller A/B switch). You can select witch instrument you loop.
I'll let him know!
You guys deserve a lot of money, subscribers, and stuff.
Man thanks so much!
I want to learn how to play like Andres, his tone is perfect!
He's the man, check out his channel.

nick williams thanks nick! I never tried the ditto but I can say that I had a small looper with only one pedal before and quickly learned that it does not feel natural to click twice to stop the loop
Wow! He really killed it with his demo at the end.
Yeah Andres is a beast!
You guys are making my head big

That was quite useful. Thanks
Happy to help!
fantastic. 1:35-1:40 any idea what that scraping instrument is called?
Great video guys! Any loop idea suggestions with a simple acoustic guitar?
Man you really can't go wrong! Just loop some chords and start playing over em!
Minor chords are a good idea. And practice some harmonic minor scales too
This is a surprisingly informative video
Good video. Thank you
Happy to help!
Very nice & memorable heart melting guitar..
Thanks so much!
This is brilliant! Thank you
Thanks for watching Paul!
Absolutely!

The Loopmeister Grande! Nice!
Andres definitely crushes it on that thing.
What kind of guitar is that? I love it and I see this performer using it too. It makes great sounds. I want to buy one. PLease tell me name.
I can't believe how he simulates the conga😎awesome
He's a beast!

Yeah he's got it down to a science!
Thanks!! Only a decade
Andres is killer. Informative stuff.
Thanks! I'll have him back on soon!

@@andrescolintv Andres, would you be willing to draw or describe how all the pedals in this video are connected?
Love it!
What is the name of the guitar you have ? And the name of what you pluged it into to get those sounds? That was amazing
How does he ever sleep with those skills and that equipment?
Good question :)
Hahahahaha I don’t sleep
Good grief. Leave some chicks for the rest of us Andrés!!! 😁
Phenomenal. All that... PLUS kicks in the vocals. Perfecto.
Boss level ;D
Yeah he's not bad :)
Freaking amazing !
That was amazing
That was AWEsome! \m/
Thanks! Andres is a beast!
Good stuff bro. Down to earth, real life stuff. From a fellow looper.😎
Just checking, he puts his looper in front of all the effects pedals?
Nope. At the end.
Sean Daniel ah really? So the reverb that you can clearly hear on the guitar is also on the rest of the beat he built up? I couldn’t detect it!
Olympic level music talent
He's the man.
un sonido de tres cubano pa ese Roland GR tienes? toy buscando eso hace rato!
What would you say is the best entry level looping pedal? Something not expensive but decent enough to get my feet wet.
I'm gonna say the TC Electronic Ditto.
:-).. quick couple questions
1. you guys spoke of a 13 pin adapter for the guitar.. I searched on amazon for that but couldnt find it.. could you please point me in the right direction
2. is there a looper you recommend that has a "one-step" stop, that you recommend? I have the little ditto looper but it throws me off when I have to do a quick double tap to turn it off in the middle of playing a song...
sorry so long winded.. and thanks for your vids! :-)
Thanks Jesse! The 13 pin adapter is something that is built especially into that Godin guitar, so to use it on a regular electric, you'll need to buy the Roland pickup. I think if I understand the question correct, you might want to look at the Boss RC-30.
Jesse Recker yeah the looper I have is good and reliable. I also can’t stand the double tap to stop. And the 13 pin cable it’s the GK Cable by Roland designed to work with the Roland guitar synths and with guitars with synth access. Like sean said, if you don’t have a guitar like a Godin SA(synth access), then you can buy the 13 pin pick up that Roland makes to work so you can put it in any electric guitar
His guitar (a Godin) has has a standard guitar out for the acoustic guitar sound. The 13 pin output is a computerized output that carries the midi information for each string. That is a proprietary output designed to work specifically with Roland Guitar Synthesizers.
This is very interesting
NICE!!!!
Thanks for watching!
TC e ditto x4 people . best damn thing i ever bought . ps amazing stuff Andres. wish i had that control
He's the man!
Killer simply killer
How can anyone sit there and not groove along to this? Not even foot tapping!!!?
:)
