Songs like this are a reason to listen to a full album and not just the hit singles. Such a great song that most people don't even know exists. Chevelle is like that though, some of their best songs were never on the radio. Glad you liked it.
THANK you for reviewing this song it’s an amazing song by then, haven’t delved into your videos yet but you gotta get Still Running, Peach, and Get Some 😤😤😤
What's crazy is I'd skip this song back in the day because the intro didn't hook me, but I remember giving it another go and really digging the chorus, then it got to THAT part and even typing it now I've got goosebumps. Long live chevelle. 🤘
By far my favourite Chevelle song, love it. I had a debate with my gf trying to figure out what the lyrics meaning, we come to an conclution that represent a person who enters into a group of people (society) not knowing how they work, and ending not agree with their decitions for being different, kinda like an outcast.
@@MusicCatsandCoffee yeah it’s political, “ felt your LEFT foot , now meet my RIGHT” these guys are studs!!!! Never sold out while putting out 6,7,8 or so albums that you can’t pick a favourite.
The Meddler is my 2nd favorite song from Hats Off To The Bull, which is my favorite album of theirs (maybe because it's the most melodic one) .Glad you had a listen :)
Hi, I really appreciate your passion for Chevelle, I feel similar, awesome band! One of fav’s by them is from the This type of thinking album and the song is “Tug of war”. I haven’t seen your reaction to that one so if you could, it’s awesome! Thanks
Now you know why this made my top ten list. Give in…you know you are going to expand to a top 15, and probably eventually a top 20. Dean does some backing vocals, although there could be some double Pete too. A while back, I found a video of them performing this at an outdoor concert. Swoon! You can see Dean singing backup there. I can definitely send you the link. I always love a CheVelle reaction day ❤️
Thank you for covering these guys and giving them love! Hats Off to the Bull is a “calmer” album, but it still rocks so much. If you ever need any suggestions, I’d be more than happy to help. There’s hard rock Chevelle, slower rock Chevelle, and acoustic Chevelle. Either way, you can never really go wrong 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I'm loving them the more I hear. I'm listening to them right now, actually. Currently obsessing over Sleep Apnea. That'll be my next reaction. Stay tuned. :)
First of all, you are looking great!!!! Great job on the solo pic. I couldnt believe it, its probably one of my favorite songs from this album. Loved the reaction. I could watch you all day long. 😊
Love your genuine reactions. Do you have any plans on getting back into Opeth? If you do I recommend Coil into Heir Apparent. These two songs go together and Coil is pretty short. It gives you a good idea of their musical range. They are extremely diverse and talented. If not, I also enjoy Porcupine Tree, Chevelle, and Tool so I'll still be a happy camper.
I can’t choose my favorite Chevelle song cause there is too many great ones but The Meddler is definitely up there. Pete’s voice is great in every song but his voice in this is on another level. From 7:30 til the end of this song might just be my favorite Part of any Chevelle song and that’s saying a lot because they are my favorite band by far. When Pete hits the “I Don’t Belong” at 8:25 man I can’t explain how great that is
😀 You are personally responsable to get me appreciate (and a bit more) Chevelle. Good sound for sure. But please come back with some sweat Opeth. Really wanna see you melt on The Lotus Eater. Also, a while back you did System Of A Down, right? I stumbled on a simple, but super catchy song of them with strong lyrics. 'Ego Brain'. Just saying, uhm suggesting 🙂 You just rock on🤘
Closure is great, older style. I have a feeling you're going to run into a song or two that WILL beat it though. Chevelle's discography is too big and varied for you not to find something a little better! Good video though. Please more from Vena Sera if you may. Well Enough Alone is a great starter from that album. If you watch the music video, you might freak at Pete's hair (hint hint).
Lauren Lauren Lauren, your top 10 list is not a thing that is possible. Every time you listen to a new song you will have to eliminate an awesome song. See, not possible! I tried to make a list and it ended up being a top 2 list. Ya, thats right, half of their songs tied for #1 and half tied for #2. 🤔

Agreed :)
Honestly, this album was a bit of a drag except for this song. It took them 2 more albums after this to come back into form for myself.
@@Audard Ruse is the other good one from this album but yeah, this album just didn't really hit.
Hey here it is. Been waiting for this one. Probably my favorite Chevelle song. Glad u finally got to it
THANK you for reviewing this song it’s an amazing song by then, haven’t delved into your videos yet but you gotta get Still Running, Peach, and Get Some 😤😤😤
This song has my favorite transition from chorus to bridge ever. I'm glad you enjoy it :D

Makes sense to me :)

I’d have to say Sci-Fi Crimes is their most melodic album to date, shameful metaphors, letter from a thief, Roswell’s spell, this circus
In my top 5 Chevelle songs along with Twinge
I enjoyed every chevelle reaction You Made . Thanx and good job!!🤘
Thanks for watching! :)

Love this song. Great job Lauren
This is my favourite song by them. It pretty much got me into them.
I can see why. :)

Spoiler alert: next reaction, I had to expand to a top 15. Hopefully, I'll get it posted next week.

@@MusicCatsandCoffee Sleep Apnea is freaking great! Def gets your head banging!!
Forgot to mention, love the "it's no fun to be behaving" line. :)

Trying to edit my Deliverance video down. :)
@@MusicCatsandCoffee :0 Great! I'm always excited to see new Opeth reactions. Takes me back to when I was first exploring them. Cheers!
This one is in my top 5. I gotta say Shameful Metaphors is their best, to me.
Also, hats off to the bull one of my top favorites, full of emotion from start from finish, as well well as vena sera , great album
But what impresses me more with Chevelle is that they have 3 members
Love this song. Please react to Chevelle - Well Enough Alone
No promises. I do what the poll tells me to. :)
I think the bass player, their brother in law, does a lot of backing vocals.

Great choice, Keep them coming!!
You have not done any songs from The North Corridor album. Try Joyride (Omen) or please do Until You're Reformed.
I've just lately got into this. It is amazing
How ‘bout SEND THE PAIN BELOW!?! Didn’t make it to your Top 10?! :P ;) …but I must admit THE MEDDLER is my fav song!!
Endlessly by Chevelle, preferably the live acoustic version

Yay! As for Opeth, I filmed Deliverance on Monday, so that'll be coming. I need to get back to SOAD. There aren't enough hours in a day.
@@MusicCatsandCoffee Please don't feel rushed. Nice Deliverance is coming
The next one could be "Endlessly" ...

Everybody in the band has the worst hair in that video. Love the hint. LOL
Ooo, how intriguing. :)
