I love how messed up the game gets! Also, I always wondered why the game would crash with the time running out music or the Bowser Valley music? Very strange.
@@Milenko777 That makes sense! I used to mess around with the Vinesauce ROM corrupter and 9 out of 10 times when it crashed, it would either play the Valley of Bowser music, Cave music, or the Time running out music.
@@waduhmelun "the sound effect plays when a firework shoots up during the cutscene where Mario rescues peach" yes I stole their reply 1:1 because I was going to say it
I really have to wonder what goes on under the hood when these crashes happen, like what bits of code are being interpreted to create these corruptions and why the results are as inconsistent as they are
Idk if it's the same case as dkc2 but wouldn't be surprised! Now you've said that it's tempting to try for different results, plus the different NSO versions too..

Probably just jumping to random bits of code trying to make sense of it all haha!

0:21 is legit scary, the crash looks kind of like a face
The green and orange make a distorted Bowser junior face
Alt title: Torturing a 20+ year old game for several minutes.
love how the snes spits out a cool screensaver when you wreck the game from the inside
I always find fascinating how SNES crashes go incredibly berserk in comparison with other consoles at the time
I remember when this happened to me when I was a kid, it happens when something move/hits the cartridge while playing, absolutely terrifying.
I miss this game. Used to play it at night after wasting hours on the farm.
1:22 idk why that shit was so funny ☠
i didnt even think the whistle noise was a type of sound effect in the game

Seems the game cartridge fell into lava...
Looks like you'll have to play a bootleg now.
Mario ate a mushroom that he soon not have geten
This has to be what a lobotomy feels like
Perfect way to describe it 😅
Imagine doing this on a real copy of the game

Hey guy, i mess this one for the Glitch. So, its 1/10
What?
Is this on emulator? Do you get better results on console? Have a great day :)
Yep on emulator, like my dkc2 video even different region or revision ROMs have different results so console or even NSO could too!
@@Milenko777 WHAT i didn't know different regions have different results. That's extremely mind blowing!

I've gotten some pretty interesting results on real hardware, nothing different from this video though
