I love this! It’s very healthy that you can come to accept that you are not OK in the sense that you are not coping anymore. It’s good that you are coming forward and talking about it, because many others can’t. Now you have people that can relate with you! Things have been so different and so stressful this year. I can totally relate with not handling things resuming and then being put on pause all over again. Never feel bad for feeling the way that you feel! Your feelings are always valid!
Hello Mel! I really liked this video a lot! It made me realize that I'm actually feeling the same way about the Coronavirus I have my own little ways of coping with it as well! I also wanted to let you know that I've been watching all of your other videos as well! I've been a subscriber to your channel since 2018! Keep up the awesome work and putting out the awesome content! I think you're really helping a lot of blind people out there in the world today! Myself included!
Hi Brad, thank you for commenting on this one, it was really hard to do, but I thought it would be an important one. Thank you for being a faithful subscriber for a long time, I hope that you’re enjoying my content and enjoying how I am trying to make the channel improve as I grow. I hope also that the things I do have assisted you with your vision loss journey. Please remember, you can always reach out and ask me questions, request videos etc. Thank you, once again, for your comment. Take care.
If you need to take a break, we completely understand. I always look forward to your videos because it makes me feel like I have something to look forward to. Of course, you know that your horse videos are my favorite. LOL.
Thank you Kim, I think I’m going to be able to produce more content now that I’ve got this off my chest, LOL. Yeah, my horse videos are a lot of fun to film as well. I have got a couple of really good ones coming out in the next few weeks as well.
I'll expand on another platform. But... I'm glad you made this video and shared your feelings and I'm glad to see you got some meaningful and supportive comments. Here's a hug from across the miles.
This was such an important video and I am so glad you made it. I realize from listening to you talk that I would actually feel the same way, guilty for being frustrated and upset that my normal activities were canceled, school has gone virtual, and my travel plans on hold. I felt like I had no right to complain even just feel bad that these things as, knock on wood, but no one in my relative or friend group had the virus as well. But you’re totally right that we are just as entitled to feel angry or disappointed at the uprooting of our life as anyone else and we can do that while still acknowledging how lucky we are not to be sick.
Definitely. I forget the exact quote but I read something along the lines of how if something strains or exceeds someone’s capabilities, then that problem is just as Big for them every other person’s problem is
Yes, that quote was it the back of my mind when I did this video as well. I should’ve researched it and put it in the description but I honestly just couldn’t be bothered

I think it’s an important lesson to learn, but no matter how big or little your problems are, your feelings are still validated.
