I totally agree with all your points. Companies now a days are just focusing on money not the experience which is utterly shameful and disappointing . They just pump out same old games every year of the same franchise for example cod and assassins creed . They just want people to spend their hard earned money but the companies themselves are not willing to take any risks themselves .

Insanity is realizing triple a game company selling same game over and over as remake and remaster by telling it's a new thing or new invitation
Last episode, i got so genuinely inspired that I started development on an actual High quality mobile game.. but I can't make a AAA Title so this is for when I make a game dev company like Rockstar.. 😃

Capcom are now going slowly slowly going to worst category they only focusing on how much they can milk Resident Evil series rather than working on other good IP of there's and I have to point out that they work on multiple RE game same time that's the reason why RE3 Remake is smaller than original and many people hate that so it's kinda concerning what the future will be if they rush in RE games and turned out to be worst game's. I hope they turn out to be next Activison

As a solo indie game dev like me who is making an open-world game, I agreed with everything you said. Specially the risk factor, when it comes to serving your investors and kinda same thing is happening with MG/Nikhil Malankar.
Isiliye best hai agar aapko pese lene hain then go with a Publisher instead of an Investor!
Gaming was a cult hobby. But developer’s obsession with accessibility and making it enjoyable for everyone so as to sell more and more copies is not helping the industry itself.
That’s the one thing that I hate about modern day releases. When a game keeps telling me which button to press for the action which I have performed 100s times or tells me where to go so as to progress, it breaks the immersion.
As a gamer, it should be me who has to remember the controls and pay more attention to the environment while playing. I love games with a learning curve. Games that challenge my skills, reflexes and intelligence. Games that I need to spend time with to get better with it. Games that are mean to me. A game that doesn’t hold my hands and make every victory feel earned.
From Software is the only modern day developer that is sticking to this traditional route of game development.

I think that indie games are going to make a big revolution in gaming industty after the success of indie games like fears to fathom and buckshot roulette if only the developer had more budget these games would have blown up even more so i request everybody to support these indie developers and play their games they have excellent story telling and gameplay though they might seem outdated but they have a lot of potential.
In India bbs played these games and they got a pretty good response

The thing is that modern games lack creativity like it is easy to make a game as realistic as possible but it is harder to make a game with your own art-style like if you compare gta 3 and gta vc even if you dont play any games you can still tell that both are totally different games by seeing their art-style and by it we can also observe their theme as well, so just think how different the games looked from each other even though they belonged to same franchise. On the other hand if you took a image of scenery from modern games like new god of war games and new assassin creed's games, it is very hard to tell them apart since their art-style is now so similar even though their theme , gameplay or mechnics dont have anything in common and dont belong to same franchise.

Till yet Rockstar is the only company left whome gamers tend towards when they see other companies releasing half-baked games. They have reduced crunch culture, they take their time in making of game despite how much the community gets angry on them, but when they release a new title, it is finished, it is same or even more beautiful than its trailer which is the scenario with only Rockstar Games.

Saying about seperate launchers, theres a feature on steam called family sharing where you can share games with anyone, even if they do not have the copy of it.. But that applies for games with no launcher only😢

2:20 minecraft and valorant are indie games, not AAA games, and minecraft has to have a launcher because it'd be impossible to switch version without it and older versions still hold relevance to this day. if you dont want hassle with a launcher just play mcbe

I purchased a Cosmic byte stellaris from official website. Official website shows that it supports headphone on PC. However, this does not work. I raised complaint with them and they confirmed that headphone will not work with PC. So this is basically misleading details on their official website and they denied to refund. They have sent me a replacement open box controller and dongle with the replaced controller is not working. I have all the proofs with me, can you help me on this.

True Ayush bhai. I am still completing the original RE4 and have to say it has an amazing feel. But looking at the latest remake it is amazing and does a lot of things different but still I got bored in a lot of sections. Spider man 2 was the first sony game I was excited about and the combat was really good. But after some time I literally started feeling it was another ActiVision Spider man 3 as you need less strategy and more faster fingers. It is sad that now there's very less development. Take Cyberpunk 2077 as an example as well. The game had amazing combat and story but still it was a hell of a boring venture. You just have to fight against bosses who will eventually appear thrice. It was so frustrating that I didn't even care when the updates were rolling out. It was Phantom Liberty at the end which brought my interest back in CDPR games. Back in time when yhe Witcher series was wholesome and amazing but deep doen even I know that Witcher 4 will just be good and not legendary. Accounting from the terrible voice acting and quality of recent games. The entire tone chabges to a different level. And damn, I no longer play newer games. I'm literally enjoying older gamecube and ps2 games as they are both nostalgic and fun. I wish that companies do keep space for new games as well.
Not gonna ignore AC Mirage, the worst Assasins creed in my opinion. Literally terrible combat system and terrible voice acting. I hope that devs are paid enough money and time so that at least they make more good decisions.
