Oh man, now I feel old. I loved the original animated version as a kid, but this song was not in it, at least not like this. I guess now I have to break down and watch the remake, and Evynn’s channel, this really sells it.
Don't be too hard on yourself Philip! This song wasn't actually in the original Lion King, or this new 'live action' remake! It was part of Lion King 2 and made even more popular through the fantastic broadway musical, which is why Evynne included on her contemporary broadway album 😊Thank you so much for the support!

Well, we feel like its up for interpretation! It seems like the literal take from the song is talking about Mufasa still being present within all things around Simba and the pride lands. But, I'm sure the message could go in many different spiritual or metaphysical ways! ❤️

This was my song growing up as a kid. I always watched this moive when I little and I would song these songs.
And when my grandpa died this song helped me remember that he was still around. Which is why I love you guys shooted this out in the woods and this soft almost gospel version is beautiful💕 it lifts my soul so much💕💕💕 so thanks for this version❤❤❤❤
