Cathy, I love all of you outfits. You won’t regret getting the denim jacket. I’ve watched Chico’s gals on tv several times and they’ve been putting most of their everyday lady/models in outfits and then a denim jacket. Oh, I love your purse and the shrug. I think it’s classy. You have great taste.

There are two in Ottawa, but they don't carry petite plus. The one at the Rideau Centre carries plus size now. Hopefully, I'll be in petite size soon so I can try things on in person.
I am all for more colour in your clothes choices. I am trying to this year and step out of my comfort zone
You have inspired me to not be so self conscious about my arms. I have always felt as though that is where everyone looks-at my jiggly & wiggly arms. I'll try to not be so anxious about them this summer.

My faves are the green top, black dress and blue print top but you look great in everything. I stopped wearing sleeveless tops and exposing my arms many years ago but I have a collection of lightweight/cotton short-sleeved cardigans and I feel comfortable and summery in them. You will look wonderful on your trip!

Oddly enough, my two favourite things were the green top and the ribbed light blue top. Scoop necks are so flattering. The floral pants were a fun addition!
Linen is a type of fabric. Gauze is a weave. Linen is always made from flax. Gauze is often made from cotton but can be made from polyester, rayon, or many other fibres.

(Maybe I'll purchase it now!) Also, that green top is awesome on you. You have cool undertones; I do too and I like your color choices. (Gauze is less wrinkly than linen. I love both.) You did great matching tops with the dark blue shorts. Tote bag is great, too. Try it, you'll like it is going to be my new motto. Good haul.

I love this new adventurous side in your clothing. The red outfit will look great in Hawaii. The denim "jacket" will look good over everything- black dresses, the red outfit, day or night. The navy dress can dress up or down- always a go to for cruises- sandals for the beach, heels and jewelry for dinner. I have them in a couple of colors. Awesome haul.

FYI - if your foot overhangs the back of your sandal, the sandal is too small regardless of the stretchiness or non-stretciness of raffia. Too easy to walk right out of them. Love the look of them, so another pair may give you the higher instep you need. Other than the sandal, great choices in the clothing for your fun trip.

Like the red/white pants, but would love to see them with a pink top (maybe sleeveless - think the balance would be better?). Love the denim jacket, it doesn't look too tight, and you don't really button them anyway. The stretch dress is cute - great for vacation (and with the denim jacket). The green top (I would call it pistachio!) and the shorts are both really good on you and the top could also be worn as an open jacket with the navy dress (bonus!). Great tote ! Sleeveless tops are very flattering on you , especially the paisley one. The front twist tee is great! Super haul - great job!

I’m not sure what shop would be similar to talbots in the uk.
I picked some wide leg short leg flowery from fat face and they were about 85 Canadian 50 pounds.
We have lots of supermarket and cheaper shops that have really picked there game up.
As we speak I’m in a country pub sun cracking the flags in an Amazon dress.

Wow, you look great in your latest haul! Love it all except for the tie front shirt, it does bring a lot of attention to the belly. Love all the colors instead of white, but personally I don’t like the dark shorts with the light tops. The contrast is too much for me. Love the array of colours! You look great in everything. I’m partial to the lime green shirt for myself because it looks nice with my colouring, but I also love the aqua tops - very flattering even without a tan but amazing with a bit of sun or bronzer. Gosh you’re going to look so good in Hawaii!

I am not buying anything else for summer because it's such a short season, and so the clothes last for many years if your size doesn't change and you have classic styles. Fabulous selections. My favorites were the navy sleeveless dress and those linen shorts which moved beautifully on you. You looked good in the aqua color. The shrug is perfect. Not a fan of the gauze top. I love gauze material and the color looked great on you. I’m not sure of the shape. You mention being rounded about the shoulders, I think that blouse emphasizes the roundness. Have you ever tried popping petite shoulder pads under some items? I laughed about the 80s vibe, but the really elevated the fit. The purse is divine. I’m envious. The tote is a wonderful decadent splurge that you’ll have forever. You’re looking great! Keep the red pattern pants and enjoy them!

Keep the denim jacket Cathy, it's a winner! I've been shopping around for a denim jacket as well but will go with a long sleeve that can be turned up to the elbow area. Denim never goes out of style and is very versatile...Go for it! Love the bag and the green top too! Great haul!!

Hi Cathy. I love watching your videos and your Talbots haul. Have you tried a front or side tuck? Another idea is to pull your t shirt up in front just a little bit . When I do that the wrinkle seems to hide my tummy.

Cathy, I truly appreciate your content. Your honest reviews on sizing and quality of clothing. I’m 80, pear shaped,plus size petite. It’s so hard finding clothes that fit properly. Chico’s, Talbots and Banana Republic are my favorite places to shop. However, I’m only to buy when there’s a sale. You’re helping so many of us plus size ladies that don’t like in store shopping or aren’t able to shop in store. With inconsistent sizing,it’s frustrating shopping online. Thank you, thank you! You look great in these bright colors. I am going to the Talbots website because I love the jean type jacket and the navy dress with the waist ties. I have the navy linen shorts and like them. I bought the crossbody purse last year. The only difference is last year's purse is trimmed in white instead of gold. Hope you have a wonderful time in Hawaii.

Like that you are trying more colors! You look great in all of them. Blue/greens or green/blues are almost universally flattering because they are opposite of our skin tones, either light or dark. I really like the T by Talbots sleeveless print top. It looks fabulous on you! And good on you for tucking in your tops to show your waist as you lose weight. Much more flattering.
