    पति बिहार से हैं। आपकी रेसिपी देख कर बनाना शुरू किया। अब हमारे घर में यहीं बनती है। पंजाबी तरीका तो एक साल से बनाया ही नहीं... अब तो शायद वो रेसिपी भूल भी ना गई हूं 😂

    Mein Bihar se hun. Ghughni type kar ke yeh recipe watch kia. Aur abhi bana raha hun. lekin oil kam use kia. I have high triglyceride so use less oily food. Thanks

    Ha, bilkul, Bihar ke bahut sari recipe me tamatar use nahi hota, especially Jo tradinally banaye jate hai..ab to har chij experimental ho gaya hai..dekha dekhi sab dal dete😊😊

    In a cooker add soaked brown chana, cut onion, ginger garlic paste, tomato, ghaniya powder, jeera powder, little bit chicken masala, oil, salt , ache se bhuniye and add water upto chana's level

    Then give 4 to 5 whistels and then allow it to cool. Open the lid and then keep cooker over gas stove and then let water get evaporated or dried as per your need.sprinkle dhaniya patti and nimu...

However, the first reference of ghugni is from the kitchens of Dhaka- Bikrampur Rajbari several hundred years ago. It is said that a new bride's cook (from Mymensingh in undivided North Bengal) made a dish with "sabut/whole matar" for the bride's in-laws.When the mother-in-law asked the new bride what the dish was called, the bride spied a spotted dove (ghugu pakhi) at the window and inspired she replied, "ghugni". Ghugni was the new favourite in Dhaka-Bikrampur and started to be paired with the famous Dhakai porota. Ghugni's popularity grew over time and has also been referred to/mentioned in many old Bengali texts and fictions as well.

    Very wrong....never fry dry masala in direct oil(except little Turmeric and Chilli powder in seam flame ..it gives colour )

      I'm myself a Bihari and my in-laws are Jharkhandi, so I better know how to make ghughni, and cooking is an art itself, I made this recipe, maybe I didn't really know how to make it. But I gave my best in making it, maybe it's not perfect. Still tho, I don't need not copy anyone. Thanks 🤓
