*I’m a 45 year old war veteran and I’ve lost every relationship and failed at everything in my life. Four days ago I was laying in bed, crying and I prayed to God. I told him that I have nothing to give him that’s worthy of a King but my broken heart. I heard him speak to me and say, “allow yourself to fall apart, it’s ok, I’ve got you.” I began to sob uncontrollably. Speaking from personal experience, that is exactly what He wants, our brokenness. I lost my last remaining family member a month ago, so I know about that broken heart. Only He can fill that hole inside you. Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, He rescues those whose spirit is crushed.
You will never have a wound too deep, or a heart too broken that God cannot heal.
You’ve taken the first step… surrendering your will to God’s will. Let His Holy Spirit strengthen and guide you. Jesus Christ already is carrying you!

I was homeless for 10 months. I lost everything. Even my children. I just got into a home 3 weeks ago. And my children and fixing to come home. When I start asking that question. God always tells me go to your life verse. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. God gave me this verse when I was recovering from a stroke. I hold onto that verse. I apply it to so much of my life. We can do anything with God

I had the opportunity to see Casting Crowns some years back. I went with a church group to Baltimore and when we walked in to the arena, the band was singing “Praise You In This Storm”. The Presence of God was so powerful in that place! It was wonderful and the memory brings me to tears of joy. Please know this. Our Father loves you so much! Christianity is not about a list of dos and don’ts, but rather, it is about a one on one relationship with Jesus. No matter what you think you’ve done, our Heavenly Father wants nothing more than to be in relationship with you. We won’t always understand His Ways, but He always loves you, I promise.
I will lift up my eye to the hills -- from where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord. When troubles come into your life, the Enemy wants us to look downward and inward. The Enemy wants to keep your mind and heart on your worries, your fears, your problems, your sorrows, etc. True HELP, comes from above, so when you need strength seek out the one who is your Helper, your strength, your Hope, your encouragement, your peace. Because when you lift UP your eyes and call out to God, you will find that your heart will be lifted up as well. You will feel an unspeakable peace and your every being will be filled with His Grace and amazing hope. Remember, hope and comfort comes from knowing that NO crisis (that is, your problems) are not too great for Him to handle! Give it up to Him and Trust Him.

My prayer for God's people is their eyes be opened to the truth that God is Love. This isn't something He extends to his children it's who He is, and when we see and grasp this truth, we will know him. One day, a couple of months ago, I received a correction from the Lord, and as I agreed with God and broke down crying, I felt His love so strong. I felt as if he was holding me saying to me, Angela, I love you, and because My love is also just those I dearly and tenderly love, I have to speak words of correction. But what was so sweet to me

My Great Grandmother went to go to be with the lord this week. though I have been so very blessed to have known her for all my life. And have been so blessed by her precsence while God has allowed me to have her. She fought the good fight. Until the cancer came to dominant and she became to weak.
She's in paradise now with her Jesus. Not suffering and Glorifying him. She left us all with heavy hearts. I am for one feeling her loss tonight, eve before her funeral. Trying to find my comfort. I know that I should be able to find in the fact that I will one day get to see her again. I can be sure that I will. But it just sucks so bad to not have her here.
My comfort right now is only in leaning on my Good Good Father.
