Regarding recording at drop offs.... I have a button on my phone and I hang my phone up on the front dash and record only myself while I wait in the car. By recording myself I can refute accusations and you can still hear the other parent if words are exchanged. Kids don't notice I am recording myself. I have also disclosed, several times by email to the EX, that I will be recording myself EVERY SINGLE TIME so she can't say that she wasn't aware. It works great as a deterrence and evidence against false accusation. Love this discussion. It was very helpful.
I’ve been exercising most of these however the other day, I fell into a trap of baiting Bambi that was really hard to recognize until I already was in it. He messaged me the other day that our child was in the ER getting stitches. Gave me all the info and when I said I was on my way, he refused to let me see our child and then downplayed the whole situation comparing the injury as a scraped knee. By the end, he said I was a high-conflict coparent for getting upset about whether our child was actually okay. I’ve been reeling from emotions for days wondering if my reaction was wrong or too intense or if it was justified and reasonable enough.
Great to see your lightheartedness about a child’s health, welfare, education, that’s all. You all just don’t want to be bothered, you’re burned out , change jobs already, lives are at stake, that’s for the old man, young girls not so much
There are many family law attorneys who specialize in high-conflict litigation, like our featured speaker Kelli Avallone. Along with other legal professionals, she assists clients in learning how to mitigate conflict in their co-parenting situations.
I’m correctly using for free Talking parents app. Is it communication between me and my Ex still will be recorded? Because I’m downloading every single picture Thank you in advance!
Hi, Irina. All communication within TalkingParents will remain documented forever. Free users have seven days to view or download any pictures or attachments before they are archived. Nothing will be permanently deleted, but you will have to upgrade to a Standard or Premium Plan to view or download them again after seven days.
A good question would be”why is Bobby not in school today?” I got a notification from the school. Dad does not respond at all because he thinks he does not have to
We're sorry to hear about your situation. All communication within TalkingParents is documented to a court-admissible Record, which can be used with an attorney in court if needed.
This is so helpful!

Never go to court, they don’t care about your children
Sadly they make it worse.
My ex wife got me onto talking parents and uses it to abuse me.

Same. I've developed CPTSD. Post separation abuse is domestic violence.
In addition, her face cannot hold still is she high?
