Ive always wanted a Plinko board. Now my elem school needs one and I'm going to make one! Thanks for this awesome explanation!
My husband and I added a washer between each reflector before sealing them together. This gave them needed weight. We also wrapped each puck in a silicone wrist band (with our organizations logo). This made them bouncy and made it much easier for the puck to navigate the pegs without getting stuck!
That’s awesome, great information 👍🏼
Best Plinko instructional video I've seen. We will be making one soon
Thank you so much for that comment, I appreciate that
Thanks for this! I can't wait to make it for our Children's Church services.
That’s awesome I’m glad you found the video helpful. We use this every year at our fall festival at the school
Thank you. We are having a festival at our church around the time of October my booth is the The Price is Right Pinko game. I love the show and I thought plinko game was built exceptionally easy and very talented. I may even be able to build it myself. Thank you for the idea.
Thank you an EASY plinko board video that I can actually make!! Excited to make one for the family!
It really is easy best of luck with it
I'm so thankful for this video! Made a Plinko board that's pretty similar. My only real issue was cutting the dowels with a miter saw... splintered and flew all over the place. Ended up buying 1/4" x 2-1/4" wooden dowel pins. Still waiting for them to arrive, so it's not 100% complete. Also waiting on the reflectors too - genius disc idea! Thanks so much!
That’s awesome I hope it works out great for you. I appreciate your comment
Loved your project. Kudos. I will make one and follow your plinko game
I’m glad you enjoyed the video
OMG I loved the first shot
Thank you!! I love this.
I had most of this already in my head. The reflectors are the icing on top I hadn’t thought of. Thanks.
Awesome hope it turns out great 👍

Yes I nailed them to the two small small pieces they are sitting in and you can tack them from the back also through the peg board. Hope you have fun with it
I was tasked to creating something like this thank you so much for your help on this!
Hope it turns out great 👍
Great Project fun!!👍👍
That is awesome!!!
Great video.. I was checking out a few different boards and everyone seems to over complicate them
I really appreciate that, it was super easy
Could you tell me how many pegs did you get out of one dowel?
I’m sorry I honestly don’t remember
How far up from the bottom is the 2x2 and how long are the legs?
Any idea the cost? Ish of course. Was this over $100?
It’s definitely under $100
Hi there! First, I would like to send a big thanks for this video! . . And secondly, I was hoping you could help me with an issue I have after making this. . I followed your Plinko to a "tee" . . And it turned out GREAT with one exception. . The "plinko chips" sometimes STOP about half way down and get stuck on the dowels. . . Any suggestions?
Hmmmmm the only way they would stop is either it’s tilled too much or the space between the dowels is off in that area of the board. We have used it several times now and that’s never happened. I’m glad the video helped you and I hope you get it figured out.
Awesome tutorial. Explained it very well. Only question I have is, do peg boards come with smaller/many more holes for the same size board? And if so, do dowel rods come thinner than 1/4 inch to fit such a board? Thank you.
Great question but I’ve only seen them in this size holes
@@LifeLessOrdinary did you stagger the rows of pegs as you went down the peg board
Yes
Great idea. We are making one this week. What did you use for the little kids to stand on so they could reach the top? Some sort of step stool? Thanks!
Yes just a simple house hold step stool 👍
I think putting the pegs in the most difficult, LOL. The Reflector doesn’t go all the way down. Are you spacing five fridge Peg and how many rows are you skipping? I hope this makes sense
Did you stagger the pegs as you went down
I am so excited to start my Plinko game! I have a friend that does vinyl lettering what size do need to her to make the lettering please?
Honestly I can’t remember the game is up at the school in the storage. I would just kind of measure it out measure each letter and get a ballpark for it
@@LifeLessOrdinary Thank you so much.
How do you put the side boards on?
What do you use for the puck? Are there pucks you can buy at party stores or something?
Unwind Bodywork I used red reflectors I bought at Walmart and stuck two of them together. They had double-sided sticky tape on the back and just sandwiched them together.
@@LifeLessOrdinary Great thank you
Good luck with it
How much did it cost for all the supplies? Do you have a rough estimate?
What size (inches) are your deflectors?
Great question I don’t have them here they keep it at the school. But I want to say they were about 1”1/2. I got them from Home Depot
Great video! What did you use to cut the dowels?
Thanks Jen, I just used my miter saw
@@LifeLessOrdinary Thank you! Your video has been so helpful!
How tall are the legs on the back? Looks like they might be 2.5 ft?
Honestly I can’t remember, it’s kept up at school in storage.
Hi...how much would you charge to make a plinko board
color scheme I don’t make them for sale I just made this one for our school fall festival, super easy you can make one
How did you connect the 2x4’s to the sides?
Also how far apart are your bottom boards spaced
CoryEdits hey Cory the 2x4 are attached by screwing the peg board from the back. And I didn’t really measure the bottom boards I just centered them by eye.
How much this project cost you?
That’s a great question, unfortunately it was 2 years ago, and I can’t remember lol. I know it wasn’t expensive for sure
@@LifeLessOrdinary i just went and purchased the materials. Great idea. Thanks for the video!!
That’s awesome 👏 we use it every year at our schools fall festival. Have fun with it
I bought plans from Woodglut and did it very quickly.
