Girugamesh (ギルガメッシュ Girugamesshu?) is a Japanese metal band, formed in 2003. The name is derived from the ancient king Gilgamesh, and is sometimes typeset with a metal umlaut as girugämesh.
"Kowarete iku Sekai" is about our planet Earth and the hope humans beings live in peace to make this planet a better place without destroying it.
SIMBOLISM:
The Baby: represents the Earth and its life.
The Skull that is Burning: represents the death and damage we have made to the Earth.
The Four Men: they represents the Earth inhabitants, bad and good people. At the end of the video, two of them go out together by the same way. Another man gets out scene alone. And the final man remains standing there watching the baby, which also represents the hope of the planet.

Gilgamesh, known as Bilgameṣ in the earliest text, was the fifth king of Uruk (Early Dynastic II, first dynasty of Uruk), ruling circa 2700 BC, according to the Sumerian king list. According to the Tummal Inscription, Gilgamesh, and his son Urlugal, rebuilt the sanctuary of the goddess Ninlil, in Tummal, a sacred quarter in her city of Nippur. Gilgamesh is the central character in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the greatest surviving work of early Mesopotamian literature. In the epic his father was Lugalbanda and his mother was Ninsun (whom some call Rimat Ninsun), a goddess. Gilgamesh is described as two parts god and one part man.

Girugamesh (ギルガメッシュ Girugamesshu) Es una banda de metal nacida en Japón, formada en el 2003. El nombre se deriva del antiguo rey "Gilgamesh", y es a veces con una composición tipográfica de metal diéresis como girugämesh.
Esta canción trata de nuestro planeta Tierra y de la esperanzas que tenemos los seres humanos para vivir en paz y armonía, pero sin destruírlo.

El Bebé: representa a la Tierra y la vida sobre ella.
El Cráneo que se Quema: representa a la muerte y todo el daño que le hacemos a nuestro planeta.
Los Cuatro Hombres: representan a los habitantes de la Tierra provenientes de distintos caminos y que convergen luego en uno solo, el Bebé (es decir, la Tierra y su Vida en ella). Ellos observan al bebé, se únen por un momento, pero dos de ellos luego se van por un mismo camino, luego otro hombre se va solitario por su propio camino, pero el último hombre se queda observando al bebé, a la esperanza de vida en la Tierra.

Gilgamesh o Gilgamés, también conocido como Istubar, es un personaje legendario de la mitología sumeria. Según el documento llamado lista Real Sumeria, fue el quinto rey de Uruk hacia el año 2650 a. C. y protagonista del Poema de Gilgamesh, también llamada La Epopeya de Gilgamesh en la que se cuentan sus aventuras y búsqueda de la inmortalidad junto a su amigo Enkidu (Enkidu fue creado por Aruru por petición de Anu que oía las quejas de la gente sobre Gilgamesh y ésta le dijo a Aruru que creara un ser tan fuerte como Gilgamesh, hijo de la diosa Ninsun y un sacerdote llamado Lillah. Gilgamesh, al enterarse de la existencia de Enkidu, envió a una prostituta sagrada llamada Shamhat, que pasó seis días y siete noches haciendo el amor con Enkidu para convencerle de que era mejor una vida sabia y social que una vida de soledad y brutalidad en el bosque).

Makes me still cry, when I hear this song
I hadn't known this song before I went to their concert in munich, but i loved it from the start (they played it as their final song) . And now that I know the meaning of the lyrics I love it even more. I almost cried, when i watched the video. It's so true what they want to say with this song and I wish everyone would think like that. It isn't possible to say how much I love them. ♥
