@@logicalblackman8228 trust me, I'm FBA allll day and i totally know about the influence of doo-wop & jazz on early reggae music but we gotta acknowledge the sequence of events.
@@logicalblackman8228 but what is "jamaican culture" besides Africans colonized by the British on an island. America (Babylon/the Beast) just had the dominant influence over the world due to our free labor. Its okay to acknowledge influence, just like the 1804 Haiti rebellion influenced us in America. We're all reestablishing ourselves in these foreign lands 400-500 yrs later. Africans in Jamaica need to CLAIM it because they built it just like Haiti, Brazil, and etc.
I think this a segment on one of 2 shows. Either The London Weekend Show or Saturday Night People. From some digging around I think this was recorded in 1976 so if that is the case then it's the The London Weekend Show as the other one wasn't on TV until 1978
Jah Jerry on Guitar Skatalites & Fada Fatman North London best sound system during the 70's,still going 50 years later!
