Would you please do a video about veterinary care while fulltime RVing? How do you manage regular veterinary care for your pets? What do you do if your pet needs emergency care (i.e. a venomous bite or severe injury)? Do you use a national corporation like Banfield, or do you research vet care in areas where you plan to go?
I’m 65. Been living with terminal cancer 12 years now. I’m now trying to live as if I don’t have cancer. I’m trying to get as healthy as I can. My mobility is really tough. I want to live as long as I can, as well as I can, despite this ugly cancer. Life is beautiful.
You can do it! I recently lost 90 pounds (started at 310 pounds), my A1C went from a 9.5 to 4.4 (as of Friday). Still have 50 more to go... WE can do it. Blessings!
That is awesome! Great job!!! Thank you for sharing this. Thank you for sharing this. Yes let's rock this together. Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. We got this TURN IT UP!!!
I was Type 2 diabetic, had seizures. I could not afford the different insulins, so I started re-acquainting myself with the woods. I started walking, then hiking. I felt my best at a happy trip skip and sprint like a wood sprite or faerie, hopping over creeks and over hills . I ended up naturally reversing my diabetes.
Our daughter is pushing us to be healthier. We are eating more fruits and veggies. We have had scares in the past with my mom and dad passing away in their 60's , my father-in -law battling kidney cancer and then most recently our 19 yr old daughter having emergency gallbladder surgery in April. Our daughter would have died if we would have waited any longer. We love you guys, we want you and Dave to be around for many years to come.
Let me say, Tonya- you bring many good points that hit home on the health issues. Im a workaholic who has seen the pounds add up over the years. I’m pledging to take this health journey with you. Stay strong my sista and keep the positive attitude!
Thank you for sharing this. Yes let's rock this together. Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. We got this TURN IT UP!!!
Did the keto thing and it worked for me. I’m in my sixties and still love food but I learned that I had to take charge. I did, wasn’t easy but it has payed off. My issue has always been, I LOVE FOOD! Too much. You got this, and I love you guys. ❤
Tanya, I’ve released 46-48 pounds giver or take two after abstaining from all sugar and white flour. I’m back at my HS weight. I hike daily and lift weights now. I’ve never been happier. I hid behind my food. It isolated me from living fully. Not anymore. I’m so grateful for my never promised life. I wish you the best at becoming your best and releasing what no longer serves you. Tonight is a full moon and perfect opportunity to release what no longer serves you and what you’d like to affirm into your life. Bless you!
My husband and I are both in our mid 70s. We just tore a large deck off the back of our house and carted 2 tons of wood to a dumpster we had delivered. It was very strenuous, but we just completed it on our 54th wedding anniversary. Keeping active is the key. You can do this!
January 9th 2013 I had two golf ball Sized cancer tumors removed. After surviving that, I quit sugar and dairy and dropped 170 pounds in the first year. I figured I beat brain cancer, I wasn't going to waste the rest of my life. Set goals, push forward and don't give up.
I am so thankful I found the two of you! since the loss of my sweetheart, I have been struggling with making the time pass. I started watching UA-cam about traveling and road tripping and camping hoping that this will help me with the healing process. Watching the two of you brings such a smile to my face, because of the love that shines through both of you not just for each other, but for all of us out here. I thought I had given up on myself and was just eating myself to death. Today was my first day on the road. I traveled route 66 for about 400 miles. when I got into my hotel I saw that you had just posted a new video of course I had to watch. I must tell you I now feel guilty. for thoughts I used to have of not taking care of myself. I want to do this with you, even though I am old enough to be your mother I feel like I still have hope. I know my Anthony would’ve wanted it that way, so thank you Tanya and Dave, for always being so honest and truthful to yourselves and to us. Turn it up Tanya… you got this!
Im sad for your loss! But glad you are starting to take steps to make the most out of your life. Ive been walking along side a dear friend who lost her husband a year ago at the age of 55. Since she doesn't have kids or much family, it's been lonely and hard to come to terms with her new reality. She's slowly but surely making new goals for herself and plans for her future. I wish you much luck on your new adventures!
So happy you are embarking on a healthier path. You are both an inspiration and an absolute delight. We love you both and wish you many, many, many more adventures!
I was worried with the on the road food, carbs and sugar and being sedentary. I was 202 lbs, now I'm 169. I guzzle water, low carbs and no sugar. I hit my treadmill and workout 5 times per week. I have diabetes in my family and I don't wanna see you go down that road. I'm so happy for you. I don't think there is anything that can stop you Tanya. The best meal, red apples with peanut butter, it's healthy and you feel full for hours. Monitor that hgb a1c. You got this girl, and with Dave rooting you on, it's a done deal. 💪🏽👍🏼💪🏽👍🏼🎯🎯👏🏼👏🏽
Hi Tonya & Dave. Been watching since 2020. Yep! Similar situation. I’m 53, started at 240lbs. In March. Had emergency surgery to remove my rotten gallbladder. Big wake up call. I’ve started 12 hour fasting, started exercising on a regular basis, and I’m down 40 lbs. my hip pain is gone, I can breathe so much better, and I’m only looking forward. I’ve had ups and downs, but my journey is about progress not perfection (heard that somewhere 😊). We press on! My goal is to learn to surf!! Nothing is getting in my way! Not even me! 👊🏼👍🏼. Be kind to yourselves and remember, our brains believe what we tell them the most. (Heard that somewhere too!) You guys have got this!! Much love! ❤
Tanya and Dave, I'm 72 years old and would love to be able to have the adventures of a lifetime like you guys, but due to health and other issues its not possible so I've made your journeys my own and I love it. I read somewhere once this quote and want to share it with you guys. "Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complere it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it." ❤
@aquilaclark814 It was a quote I read many, many years ago. I had it printed and framed and gave it to my grandchildren to remind them that's this is what life is all about.
Sorry to everyone who read my quote because I forgot the first part, which goes, "Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. " I'm gonna blame it on "old-timers". 😊Much ❤ to you both and your fur babies. I'll be following your" life journey."
Tanya, I am a house bound triple amputee who still can't walk. I went on a diet - despite not being able to walk, nor use gym facilities, nine years ago. I was 35 stone at the beginning. I have since lost just under 23 stone. I didn't give up. Nor should you.
I am that person who has worked hard and pulled myself up by my bootstraps...my whole life, until recently..I find myself slip sliding away, as I get older..thank you for the inspiration..one foot in front of the other, even with the physical limitations..you have a good man..I did, too..💜🙏🏾
Thank you! We got this! Always here to inspire! You're so right about putting one foot in front of the other. That's how it starts. Thank you again for listening and watching. Thank you for sharing this. Yes let's rock this together. Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. We got this TURN IT UP!!!
I want to give you a big hug and my support. I am 57 years old and I gained weight and got into a bit of a funk during COVID. I had also been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis a few years ago. I decided a little over a year ago to start eating an anti inflammatory diet. I was raised on sugar and one of the things that is part of my diet now is to avoid added sugar. I have only lost about 18 pounds, but I am eating very healthy. I try to avoid processed foods. I never thought I could do it but I have been and I feel better. Hang in there and remember it's for your best life.
Thank you Tanya for this update and encouragement. You are an answer to my prayers this morning. I was praying about this very thing this morning before I went to church. And to see this video is validation that I need to really get serious. I have 15 months until I turn 75 and I want to be healthy as a birthday present to myself. I appreciate your honesty and your determination. You and Dave inspire me. Blessings to you.
You're welcome. Thank you for listening and watching. We got this! Thank you for sharing this. Yes let's rock this together. Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. LET'S GO!! TURN IT UP!!!

God has been whispering to us to prioritize our health. Wake-up calls are a blessing in disguise. Prayers and favor for you Tonya. Thanks for being so transparent. It’s greatly appreciated ❤
I think we get so busy and distracted by life that many of us wake up one day and realize that the youth that allowed us to continue moving forward has snuck by us. This is a good thing to recognize. It allows us to change perspective. Accepting that our aging bodies require different things than we have been giving it, is an amazing place to be. It’s not a bad thing. It’s the opportunity needed to step back and reevaluate what we do need to continue forward with good health. You are an amazing person Girl! You can do anything! The person you need to be most accountable is yourself! Be the cheerleader that you are to others and you will do beautifully! Marti and I do this and continually remind each other that we are making our health a priority so that we can stay together as long as possible. If there is anything that I want to impress on both of you it is, when it is hard and you feel frustrated, and you will, be kind to yourself. Make an agreement with yourself to never do negative self talk about , how did I let myself get here. Ok . It serves no purpose but to get in your own way. If you catch yourself doing this, if you have to say out loud STOP! Look forward giving yourself the pep talk to put those thoughts to rest. If you had a bad day, get up the next day and choose to be positive, do what you know will move your journey forward, you will be amazed at what you can accomplish when you choose to be present and have the faith of a mustard seed. Good Luck you guys! This is going to be amazing!
Yes yes, and yes! How exciting. I feel energized sharing this hike with you. I wish you both well and many many more wonders of nature to bedazzle us all.
1) quit all sugar/ foods with high fructose corn syrup. 2) NO Processed food .3) strength training/ bodyweight training to re start / maintain metabolism . 4) Eliminate seed oils, from diet as they are inflammatory.. Great attitude you both have !.
i went through a health scare too.... but i went through it by myself, completely. be super glad that you have someone to go thru it with... i think your hiking will be incredible for you. my weight is fine but i need to get in better shape and i do it with uphill hiking. it is amazing how much it does for your body! stay healthy sweetie and let's pray... no more health scares!
Thank you so much. So sorry to hear about your health scare. It's really an eye opener, isn't it. We really enjoy hiking and getting outdoors. Your right, how much going for walks and hikes and do for your body and your mind. Thank you for sharing this. Keep up the great work and god bless! 🙏
Every Effort, Step Forward IS A Reward In Itself... Look At The Reward Your Hike Got You-- Those Falls ARE Just Gorgeous!!! Soon It’ll Be Fall-Thanksgiving And Family... Trail Riding And Bobbing For Apples, lol... And Winter-Who’s To Say Snow-Shoeing And Toboggan Parties Aren’t Fun-They ARE!!! You Guys Have SO MUCH Life Ahead Of You... I’m SO PROUD Of You Both, For LISTENING To Your Bodies And Moving Forward In Such A POSITIVE Way!!! Health, Hugs And Happiness- God Bless, 😇 🙏🏻
I'm so glad you're ok Tanya! This world wouldn't be the same without you! You're a woman that can do anything...this is gonna be smooth sailing for you!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You got this!! (Say it everyday!)
If you think you are beaten, you are! Tanya, continue to always be the beautiful, kind, loving, genuine person that you are no matter what, and make sure to always bring the bright light that shines within you everywhere you go! No one has the unique strengths you possess, but you. Always know that! No matter how hard or bad life may seem now, things will always improve as long as you commit yourself to never giving up. Whenever a storm comes, be that brave soldier that survives the blizzard. Know that GOD always has your back and you, my dear, are going to be just fine! GOD bless!
You are inspiring me to get healthier as well. I used to walk 3 miles a day at lunch and hike in the mountains where I live. 15 years ago I had to stop due to physical pain and I ended up gaining over a 100 lbs! I lost 60 within a two year period in 2019 & 2020 but then came to a point where I stopped losing. I'm ready to shed the rest and you are motivating me for sure! Love you guys❣❣
Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. We got this TURN IT UP!!!
Yes Tanya, I understand you. I too have an ankle issue but we can encourage each other to continue working on healthier living..We can do it with GOD AND 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
If it was not a stroke then maybe it was severe anxiety? Anxiety can cause symptoms like that. Yoga and exercise is the best medicine along with some laughter with Dave. So glad you are doing better Tanya.
I just found y’all recently, and I’m living your adventures vicariously through you. I turned 69 this spring, and I’m in desperate need of losing about 40 pounds. I lost 40 last year, then had some major challenges beginning in January this year, and I’ve gained most of it back. I’m going to be on this healthier journey with you too, so let’s do this my friends!! Lovin’ y’all so much! ❤️😊👍🏻
One step at a time. Having Daves support will help you to keep motivated and moving. You got this and we got you, know you're not alone. 💪💛 Hope to take a walk with you someday.
Yes! Thank you! Really appreciate that! Walking and hiking is definitely something we both really enjoy. Maybe one day we will. Thank you for sharing this. Yes let's rock this together. Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. We got this TURN IT UP!!!
I have been a silent subscriber for awhile! I know a-bit stockeretsque but I just wanted to say I can relate to what you’re experiencing and expressing! I started a new get fit lifestyle on July16th! I just was at the point I hated how I had let myself become so overweight and out of shape! I’m down 9lbs and walking again! You can do this! Your a good inspiration! Love your channel!

I am 100 lbs overweight. Watching your video tonight has inspired me. It's been a long lonely world after being in the hospital for 2 weeks and told I had fluid in the lungs. My breathing is an issue. I need to be healthier and I need to walk. I needed your video today. I've known you for so long so thank you both for sharing your personal journeys with us. I need to be healthier otherwise I won't make it. I want to do this journey with you. Share more of what your meals are per day. Thank you, Big hugs
I am about to turn 50 soon, and about a year ago, I had my blood pressure go up, so we cut out high sodium foods which means we have to read all the labels on food we buy now for sodium content, you wouldn't believe how much sodium is in everything on the shelf at the store, and my partner had his cholesterol go up so we cut out high fat foods, we substituted regular cheese with Feta, already use soymilk, avoid most restaurant/fast foods, and grow a bunch of greens to eat daily, lots of fruit, very little beef, mostly chicken and fish for our meat, and no processed high salt meats if possible. I hope you can get your health to improve, sorry you went to the hospital. Now my BP is lower, and I still eat some sodium, just aim for about 700mg per meal, and I have lost weight.
I cannot stress enough! One day at a time. I was diagnosed with a fatty liver almost 2 years ago. Luckily enough I changed my diet and started moving more. My liver is healthy again. My frustration was, I have only lost 30 pounds. My doctor had to drill it into my head that losing the weight slowly is the best way to lose it. I'm 54 years old and I know I'm not just doing this for myself. I'm also doing this for my grand babies as well. One day at a time. We are here to help you in any way! Praise, Vent whatever you need. I'm on this journey with you and I will keep you and Dave in my prayers for better health. Much love to you!!
You can do it! I know you drink AG1 and also coffee so please note AG1 has a lot of caffeine for some people. I couldn’t use it when I bought it but they were very nice about it. Too much caffeine can be hard on our hearts and since you mentioned the stroke scare I thought I should let you know. Water and green tea are best. 💜
Thank you for posting this video - I am going through struggles over my weight and cholesterol - you got this and now I am going to start my journey right along with you!
Yes Tanya, you and Dave are such an inspiration. I lost 100 pounds and gained back 40 due to working remotely and being stressed out. I am currently working to get that weight off because I am not as young as I used to be. Life can throw us some curb balls but we have to keep at it and stay positive. I have told you many times that I appreciate your videos because they take me to the places I would love to see. Hopefully I can get traveling again soon. As always, you two take care, stay safe, and all the best. You can do this!!!🙏❤🥰
Tanya you are already a georgeous supermodel QUEEN! You do you girl and make yourself feel good. You got this! I used to run small races ( only completed a half marathon). Like most I blame the last 3 years, you inspire me to stop the blame and take accountability and get back out there. Love you guys!
Thank you for sharing!!!! Small walks are better than none. I like real UA-camrs, that shows me things I know I can never do. A walk up a trail with a sore ankle. 👏🏾🎉
I'm 51 and just shortly after my 50th birthday I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia so I completely understand your decision to take your health seriously. I use myfitnesspal to keep me accountable, a cirkul water bottle system to increase my water intake , and a fitbit watch to track my steps/heartrate/sleep pattern/etc which is tied to myfitnesspal account to log in my calories burned. Its working because I've lost 35 lbs, my knees feel better so I'm able to do more, and I have no need of medications for high blood pressure or diabetes which runs in my family. You are gonna do great because you got the right attitude and reasons behind your decision! I can't wait to watch this health journey of yours and I promise to keep it up on my end too! I'm with you! ❤
Tanya, you can do this because you are so adventurous. Just add exercise to your daily schedule and only buy healthy food that you can grab and eat. ❤️ You've got this Tanya.
So sorry to hear about your health issues Tanya Glad to hear your feeling better and So proud of the both of you for starting a wonderful journey together to get healthy and incorporating fitness into your lifestyle Listen if I can do it at 70 you can do It I weight train and do yoga and hike when I can Mind you I live in Ontario and it’s pretty flat I don’t have the beautiful mountains and foothills like you both have Best of luck to the both of you on your journey Remember no pain no gain Stay safe and keep on camping 🙏❤️
Tanya so proud of you. I had a small (if you can call it small, stroke). And it’s difficult to deal with that kind of diagnosis. But if you stay with us on You Tube we will keep you accountable and push you through this. We all need that encouragement in hard times. So bank on us, we are all here for you. It won’t be easy cause HEALTHY food (to me) DOES NOT TASTE GOOD. I’m a southern girl who likes her fried foods and biscuits with gravy. So DO NOT FEAR we are all here for you, at least I know I am, so keep on going. Love you
YES! Go get it Tanya! I too am on a major health revolution. I have been obese most of my life and since I moved to Las Vegas on a major life reset partly inspired by you guys, I am much more active and watching what I do with my health habits. Just a month in since I really started hitting it hard and I have had some big positive changes. I look forward to our great results! 🎉
Tonya, you said exactly what I needed to hear this very minute. Thank you. I am 65 and found out that I have Type 2 diabetes AND Cronic Kidney failure (CKF) IN March. I was otally shocked. I am nearing kidney failure and will ned dyalisys. I eat all the wrong foods. I could bo on about what's going on wth me physically but that depresses me even more. Your uplifting way of living and believing gives me encouragement to hold my head up and think a little more positively. I need to remember the One Day at a Time, too. I'm so overwhekmed. Seeing the beautiful and interesting places you travel to gets my mind off the negetive stuff for a while. Also, ypou are sooo funny! Laughter is often the. Best therapy!!.😄 Take care. Jenifer San Francisco Bay area
When your mind is at peace, all things find their place in your life. Stay true to your self Tonya and Dave, you two are a hoot to watch, the last few videos have been hard to watch solely because you two are a force to be reckoned with. Keep on keeping on!!!
Thank you! We are truly blessed to have such an incredible community. Thank you Jody for being a part of our TIUW Family. We take it one day at a time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We really appreciate it. God Bless! 🙏
You go girl!!! I grew up in Vegas. I'm an old lady now. Vegas has changed so much. Thanks for showing us around there & around the country. You & your other half are in my prayers. God bless, in Jesus name.
Thank you! Vegas had definitely changed. OMG has it changed. Thank you for listening to what we have to say and thank you for being a part of our TIUW Family. Means the world to us. God bless! 🙏
Tanya I had a feeling this was the direction you were going with this video. Let me tell you something. I've tried so many diets. Something came across youtube about drinking a gallon of water a day. Well instead of a gallon, I bought the half gallon on Amazon . I've been doing this for a couple of weeks and omg the way I feel, the energy, amazing sleep, my skin, my hair, no fatigue, and the best part, I'm not hungry. Now you don't have to, but I'm combining low carb woe with this, and this has been the answer that I'm looking for. If drinking water is all I needed to get the scale moving. I'm telling you this works and pounds and bloating, etc.are going away. 64 ounces day, and everything else will fall into place. I hope you consider this. I feel amazing, and why did I not do this before. Good Tanya in your journey 😊
You've got this girl!!! 9 years ago I suffered a stroke (I was 33 at the time)...it has been a roller coaster since then, trying to figure out how my "new" body & brain worked.....but one thing that I am sure of & grateful for, is my wonderful, supportive family & my close friends....You've got yourself a wonderful supportive husband!!!! Keep going Tonya, you've got this!!
Hello. Your message stood out to me. I had a brain stem stroke 9 years ago. I was 36 years-old. I can truly relate about learning my new body and way of thinking. I just want to let you know that you are not alone on your journey. We got this.
Yes we've got this!!! Always & forever!!! I just fell down today also. Thank God my son was here & helped me! Please continue yo be safe always no matter what! I also am a long time widow with many health issues but its so good to be alive! Take care!!! ❤🙏🏻👍🏻😊
That first month is always the hardest so I think it was smart to just get started with it before sharing it with others. I am always struggling to find the motivation to get going on taking better care of my health. I hope you can feel like sharing the journey with us helps with positive accountability on your path. Just remember that it’s okay to trip up sometimes. I know you can do this! To healthier days!
Y’all got this Dave and Tonya. We have your back. Thank you for such an inspiring channel. I wish you both the best life has to offer. Stay safe and healthy. ❤️
You are both so inspirational! My husband and I have both been slowly slipping into an unhealthy lifestyle, I'm here with ya! Cheering you on, and I'm going to celebrate with you as you gain more adventures and experiences. ❤ you guys! We are not going to quit along with you!! You got this!
I've been cancer free for 15 years and I also want to join you in making changes. I started with small things like no more soda. Stay strong and you have tons of support 👍🙏🏽 God bless
Congrats Tanya for taking your health back into your own hands by making it a priority. I totally get how it slowly gets out of control then BAM, reality hits. You can do this!! You're very lucky because Dave is such a supportive partner. I'm soon to be 65 and smoked for 46 years. Right before Covid hit on Feb 1, 2020 I found myself in the emergency room not being able to breathe. For weeks I was in the hospital with what they claim was an RSV virus. As my lung doctor said so eloquently, I almost kicked the bucket. I went home on oxygen but now do not use it. Unfortunately I gained almost 20 lbs because I stopped smoking. I am supposed to be walking more but rarely do. Seeing your video was the kick in the butt I needed to get myself up off my ass and start walking! Thanks so much and I wish you both a long and healthy life together. I love watching you two on your adventures. I am sure there are many, many more down the road for you once you get Desert Snow back. Love ya! Cinda
There is no doubt in my mind that you to will achieve your goals. You two show great support for each other and all us out here cheering you on. Love y'all!
Thanks for the reminder of the importance to focus on health and wellness. You guys are amazing and we love you guys. Don’t sell yourself too short as there are a lot if us who can’t even walk a trail yet, so give yourself some credit. I started my intermittent fasting and low- carb journey and hope to be able to get to where you are. God Bless! Stay Strong 💪 and Keep Encouraging us!❤
From someone who struggled with her weight and health all throughout her life up until I was in my 30s. I finally learned that It's high protein, low fat, low car,b, and low sugar diet. I basically follow a type 2 diabetic diet. I am not a diabetic either. At least 30 minutes of exercise for at least 5 days a week. I dont' go crazy. I do some cardio and weight training. And, I do like my wine, but I found a low-carb, no-sugar wine, I limit my intake of alcohol. You got this!!!!
Dave and Tonya, love your channel and how you guys are so supportive of each other and all your followers. My heart hurt when you said you thought you had a stroke, thank God it wasn’t. I’m 63 now and when I turned 40 I had to have open heart surgery. My heart never went back into a good rhythm so my hiking days had ended. I Love camping . Would have loved to travel like you guys and see the world. God is good because I’m still here and have a very supportive husband. Thank You for sharing your story and your adventures with us.

I think the hardest part to getting into better shape, no matter a person's reasons, is starting. Once you can get started and keep it up it eventually just becomes part of your daily life.
Of course you got this! You are encouraging me so I'm on this journey with you. I know how good it feels to be healthy and I want to get that feeling back. We got this!
This is one of the MOST informative, entertaining and loving UA-cam channels on the outlet. Watching this channel helps me forget that l have a work-a-holic, stressful, lifestyle myself…which is kinda killing me! The key to life is exercise, eating low carb, taking care of oneself, believing in a higher power, being kind, positivity and exercise! This past month, I lowered my AC1 from 8.6 to 6, just by adhering to these keys of life. I like to think l was motivated in part by watching Tonya & Dave. Blessings to both, and GodSpeed to all who view your channel
God bless you'll. Tanya & Dave you two impress, inspire & love each other. The way, I wish I could be loved, but I have no one.. I to, have medical issues. I almost lost my life in 2014 & 2016. Tanya stay encouraged. I've been fighting & still fighting. Love you both.
I loved this video. A lot of us feel the same way but it's hard to vocalize it or say it outloud. If you ever started an accountability health challenge I would join, your positivity is contagious!😊
Tanya, I am there with you my sister. Since Covid started and I broke my ankle, I have also gained too much weight. I couldn’t breathe. I still have problems breathing. I have had CT scans on my lungs, heart, and arteries and the doctors found nothing. So in a nut shell, my frame can’t handle the weight. Don’t give up!!!! Please, I live thru you until I am able to be normal again. You are giving me strength! I already exercise but I’m going to do more. Thank you for sharing your feelings.
Same here, I make a point to do at least one big workout. Like biking, swimming, mowing my lawn with a push mower, and even preserving some of my veggies. I will be 68 in October. You go, girl!!! Awesome falls!! One foot in front of the other.
I watched this video again, but this time with my husband. He’s getting ready to turn 51 and I’ll be 49. We have a 6 year old daughter-along with older kiddos 28, 26 and two 20 year olds ( we’re a blended family). I stay active by doing UA-cam work outs and walking the dogs. I started a couple years ago cause I was just uncomfortable and I’m trying to avoid certain auto immune diseases that are supposedly genetic from getting me while I’m generally young like it did my mother. My husband likes to make excuses and reasons on not to do things. He’s also a procrastinator. Mix that with emotional eating and you get 285-last time I knew-weighing on his back and knees. I’m hoping that this does give him a little kickstart in wanting to do the same. Thank you so much for the inspiration and you will do well. I see that you’re determined and focused. There will be times that you’ll feel you’ve failed but I can guarantee that you didn’t. Don’t go by weight, go by how you feel and the change in your clothing. We love your videos and great attitude-not to mention Tanya’s pipes….girl sang!!!! Many blessings and prayers for y’all. You got this!!!
Hey guys. I have been a silent sub for a while. But I had to comment on this video. I am proud of your journey and you have inspired me to get back on the healthy path. Hang in there Tanya and you and Dave in my prayers. That hike looked hard but beautiful. ❤

Blessings!
❤❤❤❤❤❤ Wow that's Fantastic!!!!! Many struggle to bring their A1C below the 7.0 threshold. Congratulations! 🥰💐🙏😇✝️🛐❤️ God bless you.
That’s awesome!
Congratulations Queen🙌🏾❤
Hello take care and do what right for you both love and prayers.❤😊🙏🙏🙏🌻
Me too- great job!
Thank you for sharing this. Yes let's rock this together. Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. We got this TURN IT UP!!!
Me too! We can be accountable to each other! It’s better together!
Me also! Been in a slump but I need to be more accountable as well❤
Did the keto thing and it worked for me.
@@diannthomas7849 I appreciate your response! Life goes on!
*hugs*
Congrats to you. My doctor says type 2 diabetes IS NOT hereditary.
Cut the sugar, no red meat, eat fish, quinoa, beans, green's every day. Exercise.
(Heard that somewhere too!)
You guys have got this!! Much love!
Life is life, fight for it." ❤
So beautiful I had to screenshot that🥰🥰 thank you. I’m right behind you. I’m 70 and enjoying the journey .. with Tonya and Dave🤗🤗..
@aquilaclark814 It was a quote I read many, many years ago. I had it printed and framed and gave it to my grandchildren to remind them that's this is what life is all about.
Sorry for any misspelled words. Poor eyesight and autocorrect are not a good combo😂
That's an awesome quote!
I love you both BECAUSE of your positive, adventurous attitude. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey!!
Thank you so much! We really appreciate you for taking the time to share your thoughts. 😊
Let turn it up world. Thanks for u 2
The love between you two is PRECIOUS ❤
I’m doing keto. Lost 20 lbs so far. ❤ you go girl.

2) NO Processed food .3) strength training/ bodyweight training to re start / maintain metabolism
Look At The Reward Your Hike Got You--
Those Falls ARE Just Gorgeous!!!
I’m SO PROUD Of You Both,
For LISTENING To Your Bodies And Moving Forward In Such A POSITIVE Way!!!
Health, Hugs And Happiness-

I'm so glad you're ok Tanya! This world wouldn't be the same without you! You're a woman that can do anything...this is gonna be smooth sailing for you!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You got this!!
ALRIGHT! So happy to hear that and really appreciate you sharing you story. We're all in this together and in it to win it. TURN IT UP!!!!!
Follow us on Facebook facebook.com/turnitupworld I'm going to do my best to post updates and you can certainly respond to those posts with photos or positive quotes. We got this TURN IT UP!!!
I've always said 150# was my limit and been in that zone for most my adult life
Yes Tanya, I understand you. I too have an ankle issue but we can encourage each other to continue working on healthier living..We can do it with GOD AND 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Wishing you and Dave continue good health and love❤
We got this!
Oh Tanya, me too i have struggled for years. I will follow and join you on this journey too.😢❤ Love you both. Xo 😊
Suggestion: keto/carnivore. ‘HomeSteadHow’ or Dr. Ken Berry
We are fans no one can tell us this until we make our own decisions. I’ve battled weight my whole life and have recently focused on this and have lost 50 lbs it’s been hard but we are close to retirement and want to RV in our Class Band see the country

Thank you for this. Wow you and your partner are very focused and that’s wonderful to hear! Lots of great tips there! Thanks for sharing! 🙏💙
So glad you are answering your personal wake-up call! You have (literally) 10s of thousands of people in your corner. As Dave says, "you got this!"
Thank you. God bless! 💙🙏
Don’t lose that sparkle Tonya! You are such a light In this world 🤍
You can do it!
YOU ARE BOTH AMAZING INSPIRATION OF LIFE!❤
Yes Tanya, you and Dave are such an inspiration. You can do this!!!🙏❤🥰
Drink green tea everyday.
That is a fake disease! How come it only appears to affect neurotic post-wall women looking for attention?
Congratulations 🎉👍🏽
Tanya, you can do this because you are so adventurous. Just add exercise to your daily schedule and only buy healthy food that you can grab and eat. ❤️ You've got this Tanya.
Glad you are ok. Remember you have a great big cheering section from your whole community. We all got you.. Keep up the good work...
So sorry to hear about your health issues Tanya Glad to hear your feeling better and So proud of the both of you for starting a wonderful journey together to get healthy and incorporating fitness into your lifestyle
Listen if I can do it at 70 you can do It I weight train and do yoga and hike when I can Mind you I live in Ontario and it’s pretty flat I don’t have the beautiful mountains and foothills like you both have
Best of luck to the both of you on your journey Remember no pain no gain
Stay safe and keep on camping 🙏❤️
Tanya so proud of you. I had a small (if you can call it small, stroke). And it’s difficult to deal with that kind of diagnosis. But if you stay with us on You Tube we will keep you accountable and push you through this. We all need that encouragement in hard times. So bank on us, we are all here for you. It won’t be easy cause HEALTHY food (to me) DOES NOT TASTE GOOD. I’m a southern girl who likes her fried foods and biscuits with gravy. So DO NOT FEAR we are all here for you, at least I know I am, so keep on going. Love you
Eat no meat, drink more water, eat more veggies and give up sugar. Bake w/o sugar: monk fruit, xylatol.
Best therapy!!.😄
Take care.

God Bless! 🙏
You have this. You two have each other and that will pull you tru! Stay happy and healthy.
God bless! 🙏
😇
🙏🏻

I am always struggling to find the motivation to get going on taking better care of my health. I hope you can feel like sharing the journey with us helps with positive accountability on your path. Just remember that it’s okay to trip up sometimes. I know you can do this! To healthier days!

God Bless! Stay Strong 💪 and Keep Encouraging us!❤
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and listening. Really appreciate it!
You got this Tanya I’m Working on my weight now down over 30lbs so far reversed pre-diabetes my hubby down 58lbs look at God🙏🏽
You can do this, Tanya! Especially with the support of your Soulmate, Dave! You two are such a lovely couple!
Hello Tanya and Dave, you guys are great! I am Diabetic and am physically impaired also from a major car accident 12 years ago, I have had 7 major operations on my back,I have been through life threatening complications from a couple of the surgeries , I have 4 metal rods along both sides of my spine,I can no longer bend from my waist, pain every day.
I have had a weight problem all my life.A month ago I got fed up, and I went strict Keto, I have lost 20 lbs so far have another 80 to go, in my professional years before the accident, I was a Chef, ran my own Catering Company, and worked as a Food Service Director for school districts.
If I can do it girlfriend I know you can! I will be cheering for you both.I have some great low carb recipes if you would like them, good food that tastes good . Love to you both!
Dave is definitely your rock, you two have each other's back and that's so awesome to see! Stay fit and have fun and don't forget to enjoy the ride along the way...❤❤❤
I think the hardest part to getting into better shape, no matter a person's reasons, is starting. Once you can get started and keep it up it eventually just becomes part of your daily life.
You can do this...together! You both are amazing! Leaning on and supporting each other is what it's all about.
Great sharing. Will pray for you to reach your optimum weight and health levels.
Your positive attitude will get you both thru ups and downs. Love ya both!!
You’re speaking my life!! Today is the 1st day I’ve eaten right in a long long time!
You got this. I'm going to join you. We can all do this together!
Tanya, thank you for reminding me that we should live life to the best of our abilities. And Dave for being the man he is, is such a blessing.
Same here, I make a point to do at least one big workout. Like biking, swimming, mowing my lawn with a push mower, and even preserving some of my veggies. I will be 68 in October. You go, girl!!! Awesome falls!! One foot in front of the other.
Such beautiful scenery! That sure didn’t look like an easy hike to me, especially at that altitude! 😮 Kudos to you! Good luck on your adventures
It wasn't a hard hike. The altitude did make you work a bit but overall we found the trail quite easy. Thank you for listening! ❤️
Those falls were Beautiful!!!
😇
