Ring planners are my favorite because they are highly customisable. Bumping into rings is not the problem if you know how to handle them- just stuff the pages to the max to have paper at the same level as the top of the rings or have really small rings.

Book bound planners are my favorite too, especially as a lefty. The Hobonichi A5 Avec and a weeks is what I am currently using and I don't really see that changing in the coming years. I use the Avec for memory keeping and the weeks for planning out my week. Even with a full time job I have found that I don't have a lot going on to fill a lot of space, mostly just a couple things that are must do's for the day and a weekly to do list. I love the Avec for memory keeping though since half way through the year I switch books and it keeps me from feeling like I need to buy something new. I get that new planner feeling without spending more money and I put so much in my book that I would hate writing in something so chunky. lol
Do you think the B6 planner would be big enough even when you go back to working or do you think you would feel the need to go back to A5?

Book bound planners are the best! I think with a full time job, depending on what kind it is, I may need an A5. I haven't tried out the B6 yet but I hope to soon. I really like the idea of getting that new planner feel with the Avec. I kinda like the chunk though :) Thanks for the comment!

Problem with the bound planners (hononichi etc) that I don't like to look at the blank pages, it's like I have to fill the daily pages, and I really don't like the "have to". I don't like the pressure that it's giving me.

Planners you're showing are too big for me. I need to carry my planner around, so it shouldn't be too heavy. I've been in the pocket rings (moterm in filofax) for 5 years now, and I continue to use them 😂 I do bujo in them as well as I use printables.

Maybe a weeks size would be good book bound wise but if it works for you that's what's important!

Discs demand thick paper, which I refuse to buy.

Why am I only just seeing these comments?! I'm so sorry about taking this long to reply. I agree with you about discs plus I find them bulky. I like the lay flat feature of bound books.
