Let's talk location and how I got it wrong. Don't know if your able to at the venue but personally I would of moved. But I guess we all fish differently.
Hi Richard, Unfortunately, this lake is fully booked most of the year round. You have to book the peg in advance, and because it is busy, there is no chance of moving. Booking a swim in advance is not everyones cup of tea, and I don't particularly like doing so, but unfortunately, carp fishing is changing with pre booking, huts appearing at lakes etc. Given a chance I'd rather choose my swim and wouldn't mind if it was muddy or overgrown. But the draw is the stamp of fish in this lake and if you want to catch them you have to hope they are in the swim you book!!
Thanks Dave. I use little mesh bags filled with crushed boilies most of the time, nicked on the hook, but only occasionally use solid bags. Dont ask me why, it tends to be dependent on the lake.
loved the video today Steve, very good chat on the bait and on the water you had to fish in front of you especially the depths as well, only downside can you not do the cakes at the start my mouth was watering all the way through, take care mate and tight lines

Turn the fish icons off bud. Get a better idea of what’s going on underneath. It’s just an algorithm that places an icon over the top and can be Mis interpreted 👍🏻

Thanks Alan. The bucket is the new korda one, it's not cheap, but reduces the need for extra buckets if your using different baits.

Dont see you much using PVA Bags or Mesh Bags is this often the case great work love the videos
