I love that you put your painted snail shells in a box frame! I'd love to see individual shells in individual tiny box frames with different colour frames/backing board to match or contrast with the shells! Fab work
The box reminded me of the luggage commercials we used to see where gorillas jumped on and further abused the luggage. Thanks Liz for yet again doing a fantastic job of reviewing art supplies for us. I use all media as well and seeing a review of new products is SO appreciated! The coasters are gorgeous. I was looking for coasters today but now I think I'll make my own. BEAUTIFUL! 🎉
I can’t say I am enthralled with the markers, but thanks to you using them on the coasters has made me think again. I really liked your artwork on them, not something that would spring to mind to me.
LOVE the coasters. Your creativity absolutely astounds me (I am NOT creative at all). Your style is stunning and your choice of colour and style is just brilliant. Thank you Liz for all of your amazing work. Kim from NB Canada ❤
Great video, Liz ! Loved those shells in the display box frame 🤩💕 May I also congratulate you on the editing which was nice and smooth. A really fab improvement ✨✨💕💕🥳🥳
What a lovely little project! So colourful and I was surprised that you could get the "watercoloury" effect for the background. I will absolutely try these flowery landscapes on coasters or maybe something else. Thank you!
Dear Liz , really interesting as always you explain clearly and you don't mind getting your hands dirty 😅 love watching your videos, you are so down to earth and your work is wonderful. Thanks for showing, these little coasters are so pretty 😍 XX
Hullo Liz, I loved your coasters! I have used several "varnshes" to seal my artworks. From furniture grade Varathane, Mat Medium, Dorlands Wax, even several spray varnishes. I guess it just depends on how rough they will be treated! My first experience with paint markers were Posca's and I was given a bucket full of them to paint windows for a strip mall for Christmas decorations! These look just as nice. Thanks for sharing your paint marker adventure with us!
Love the coasters! Not sold on the markers, but that's just me not liking markers anyway (I need a paintbrush in my hand!). The coasters and either watercolour (with ground), or acrylics though, that's something I think I would like to try. Thanks for the video.

that would be fun!
I enjoyed your review and coasters very much. Such value in your videos, I feel I learn something from you in each and every one. Thank you!
that’s super to hear

yes, someone did stomp on the poor box. I started out needing some new coasters and now I’ve started a production line…

I was trying to think of something to try out all their properties and I think these worked
@ Certainly did, all grist to your colour wheel.
Lovely coasters ❤ thank you Liz for this lovely demo … as usual it’s very entertaining with a lot of tips 🤗🙏🏻
You are so welcome!
Thank you, Liz, for a wonderful review of these markers. This company's name is pronounced 'art ex'. Thanks again!
Oh thank you! How funny, they never corrected me. oops

I’m contemplating these, so this is a very timely video. New subscriber. You are adorable. I absolutely LOVE your snails in the frame. Gorgeous.
Welcome!! And I had fun with the snails

😊 thank you. I like having mucky hands!
Lovely results, really enjoyed watching you making these pretty coasters, thank you!
Thanks so much 😊
Thank you
my pleasure!
Lovely coasters! ❤ I'm not usually a big fan of markers but now I'm convinced to try them myself. Looks like a lot of fun 😊
I really enjoyed playing with them, once I got over my disappointment of how they worked on black

I do love Posca’s but they are so pricey
Ever thought of using a thin layer of resin? It is very strong and make the colors bright!
I’m not very fond of resin to be honest. I’ve seen so many bad examples 😆
@ Just an idea, you have to do what feels right for you!
@@MargrietBossink a good idea - just my own hang up about resin 😅

I plan to do more….
Love this. Will they work on canvas?
Yes they do
@@LizChadertonArtthank you!
I wonder if the B set is more opaque?
Great job, thanks
Could be but I don’t know
Love it Liz. Will you be doing Xmas cards?
probably not - there are so many pretty ones out there already
@ sad times for your fans just a single Christmas image would suffice 😢
€ 70 😳. Not in 70 years 😂 for that money I have more then 10 tubes of Rembrandt
😊
