Actually the part about the encyclopedia is a lie cuz it doesn't have every item rail so to have all the purple blue and white rarity weapons in there to show you where you can find some of them cuz some of them we like and we want but we can't find it because it doesn't show up in there
Target item section doesnt work from what I can tell on ps5. Tell it to track an item for you and nothing pops as a target item section. Unless theres more than one way to set tracking ingame. If there is I only know of triangle. Lol
I don't know if it has to do with anything but their is a button it's right d-pad something that switches to tracking targets (when in Albion at the bottom left)
What I think people are doing is tracking the whole item over the parts that you need to create the item. If you click on the parts that make up an item or even a descendent you will see it has several components if you click track on one of them it will show you what missions or activities to do to grind it.
its a game of chance, not skill . you gamble with your time and the devs stack the deck to entice you in every way possible to spend money.. So efficiency is useless.

That's odd, maybe you have to go to your journal and activate it there too after tracking? Might be that its added as a sub-quest or something.
