- Is it better to get the Pixel 8 or the Pixel 8 Pro? Google just gave us the answer in a roundabout way but also made us question if buying expensive Google phones is a good idea.
It seems the cheap Pixels may be the way to go for those that don't insist on trying the latest AI experimental tech.

Worthless softaware on pixel ? Its straight up android the way it should be not some jacked up launcher Samsung has developed!! OneUI is and will always be messy period!!
Have you used the Pixel phones ? They are plagued by more bugs than One UI has ever faced in its lifetime. Google phones are more like experimental phones focusing on gimmicks while failing at the basic fundamentals. More than a dozen updates later, nothing ever gets fixed in Pixel updates too which makes sense given how many people Google has fired lately. The OTA updates often introduce more bugs than they fix.
Pixel 8 is actually quite a bit better than the 7, aside from the smaller screen size. Hear you overall though on the value.

Why did you mention that sharing the 'boosted' videos is challenging on the Pixel 8 Pro? Is there an option available to share these videos without reducing the resolution? I'm looking to copy the boosted video to my laptop in 4K resolution
I wish Google made the base flagship larger. I'm not trying to pay all that money for a tiny screen.
is the current $700 P8Pro in Best buy a worthy deal? Or the issues are so bad that I should simply give this a miss
I think that's a very good price for the pixel 8pro it's an amazing phone not to mention the BEST Software & Cameras around.
I got the 8 and it is deceptively smaller feeling than you would expect - I believe it's a combination of thinner width, light weight and the rounded corners. It's absolutely unbelievable for a compact phone! BUT it makes me feel like I should have gone for the Pro as it feels smaller than I expected!!
Yet they bring out useless crap that no one asked for?

Pixel 8 has 2000 nits brightness not 1600 nits and the 8 Pro has 2400 nits. Just a little error. Great video, thanks ❤

@@tazzy1211 it's only good for still pics nothing more, it has no ability to do customizations unless u replace the launcher 😒 it's pretty much trash bro, i used pixels before and it's completely trash as a main phone, it might be ok aa a throw away trap phone tho 😂
These reviewers always seem to forget to mention how bad the modem and reception are in the pixels. Terrible modem. I got the 8 and had to return it.

I dumped Samsung years ago because of the sheer volume of worthless bloatware they install with every one of their phones. And yes, you can't uninstall it. Have never looked back since and no I don't miss them.

I could buy the pro but decided to go non pro. Dont need zoom camera and these special pro features. love the size of the non pro.
It's not 5 years of software update on p7 it's 3 yrs and 5 yrs of security updates.
The 8 pro feels very small in hand for some reason, it’s taller than the iPhone 15 pro max but thinner and lighter and curved. It’s not as big as you think, they it in store if you can
Does either of those pixel phones have an App Lock feature? On the Xiaomi phone, any access to an app with App Lock enabled would require another authentication (via a password or biometric data). This feature is very useful to prevent access to sensitive apps such as banking apps, smart home apps (garage, HVAC, ...), and home security app
