Orangutan Jungle School: What happened to Dilla and Delilah?

The last you may have seen of Dilla and Delilah may have been when young mother Dilla was reunited with her previously rejected daughter Delilah. For a short time, it appeared as if Dilla was warming to touch of her tiny daughter, but, unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the bond never truly formed. For the safety of young Delilah, our animal care team had no choice but to make the hard decision to put Delilah under the care of BOS Foundation surrogate mothers. We speculate that it is due to her own traumatic, motherless past, that Dilla was simply not ready to be a mother to her child.

I have an up date abouth Dilla and Dileliah, Dilla is on an Island on here one she is continu with helpers there! And baby Dileliah, is now 2 years old, and she is very good in Learning at school!! She is one of the best!! I hope that you cant see this, sorry for my bad English

Thank you for the update! I assumed after that last try when she let her nurse that they stayed together. It is always sad but at least they're both getting a chance to be wild. Dilla was just too young.
