- Here is a ride on Brampton Transit 0839 on route 4, a 2008 New Flyer D60LF articulated bus. Like its 40-foot counterparts, it was purchased from London Transit Commission to supplement the fleet during a period of strong ridership growth and overcrowding on certain routes. This is the only D60LF Brampton acquired.
This is the first operational D60LF in the GTA since Mississauga retired them ten years ago. Ottawa is the only other city in Ontario to still have them running today. These buses have been uncommon in Ontario during their years of existence.

These look sick. They look better than I expected
I kinda wished TTC purchased more D40LFs or even the artics instead of half the order of Detroit Diesel Orions
@@AlexGetsAroundTO yeah. I wasn't a big fan of the OG Diesels with the Detroit diesel engine
I loved them but TTC ordered around 200 of them between 2002-2005 which was a lot in my opinion. The order should’ve been cut in half, with one for Orions and one for D40LFs.
@@AlexGetsAroundTO yeah
@@AlexGetsAroundTO nice in my opinion Orion diesels OSi 74-78x units were my favourite + that one seat in the back with yellow bars on side was best seat for me
Brampton transit has an order of 20 more XD60 units that will be placed into service in brampton transit! As well as some LFSe+’s, LFS’s and some XDE40’s. There are 90 busses for brampton transits fleet in total on order. Theres also 16 XD60’s for Zum on order. So excited that Brampton Transit will be getting some articulated busses in its fleet for regular routes, and I hope they can get as many as miway has sometime.. their routes really need articulated busses
@@andrewisvrycool Yeah I’ve heard, I’m looking forward to them. It’s very likely they will replace the 2005-06 Novas so I want to catch them next
God I loves these buses they are the best of the best
The long buses I like the best. Cuz they're long more space to. Yeah I like long buses than the small ones.
Fun fact: this route used to be named "4 Drinkwwater"
Its pronounced "CHING -COO -ZEE"
Damn I think I almost knew that
