I have both Flip 6 and Charge 5. In my opinion, Charge 5 sounds slightly louder and better IF its facing you. Flip 6 has a more 360 sound which is good if you want even sound in a room. I prefer the Flip 6; its lighter, easier to carry around with the strap and it fits perfectly in the water bottle compartment of a backpack. Although the battery is 12 hrs, I usually play it at 30% and it can last me a week with seldom use.
Yes. I own the the Charge 5 is more sweet spot center facing. As soon as you go off axis, it loses it potency. The smile point is to fill a room so Flip 6 wins. Others to consider for room filling 3D is the Bose Soundlink (has BT phone) and the Marshall Emberton II (has huge battery) for more eveness. All these 3 are easier to carry too.
Pretty much my exact thoughts. I have the Flip 6 and the Charge 4. When I travel it's definitely the Flip that goes along, although having the Charge as a massive battery bank is sometimes nice too.
I got ch 5 for $60 and currently the flip 6 is $40 ....at local pawn store.....I still prefer the Bose flex over both of these..... and Whataburger is now available in Vegas.....
that happened to me with the go 3, everything ends peeling off, the JBL logo and the feet. How often and at what volume level do you use the charge 5? im thinking getting one over the flip 6.
If ever the Jbl Charge 6 released and its Rubber Feet FiX plus its Multi Directional then I'm In. Jbl Flip 6 is good because of its Multi Directional Sound plus its Portable 12 hrs is Decent.
Jesus Christ so many mixed reviews of these speakers in the comments. I would have to go in a store and test these speakers myself. No telling how many people in the comments don’t clean their ears or who just dont know anything about music so they could be leaving reviews that are inaccurate lol

Personally i like the bass on charge 5

Respectfully I would have to disagree. If I had to choose, it would have to be the Charge 5. Sounds more open.
To me, the charge 5 sounds a bit more smooth. It sounds more airy.

Really?? What burger in vegas?
What I don’t like about the charge 5 some of the rubber feet starts to peel off so I had to glue it down to keep it in place.

@@agarras32 try not to drag it just pick it up and put it down. That’s what I do. I used my charge 5 often and I make it loud when no one’s home
Happened to me with my clip 4. I think it’s just something thats bound to happen eventually 😭
Thanks for the video! Helps.
No clue how they sound IRL - but in the video the difference is immense. The Charge 5 sounds *way* better
I own both and from what I notice the charge 5 has a much more ‘rich’ tone, the bass has more kick too

Charge five sounds better, hands-down.
I think the charge 5 is much better it has that clarity and little bit base
I got my charge 5 today. Can't wait to try. In this review, charge 5 sounds more better
how is it
2 x flip 6 + charge 5 + xtreme 3 partybost 😊
JBL Flip 6 sounds muffled, compared to the charge.

Actually no.
Why@@DANNYBIONICFANWOOOHOOO
The Charge 5 sounds smug because it doesn't have a stronger tweeter, he need 15w not 10 I think
