Good shout throwing in the towel, definitely one to come back and attempt in the spring/summer when it’s less dangerous! Also still a good effort for even attempting 👏🏼

One of the old legendary Rough stuff club stalwarts did the 3 highest peaks Scotland Wales England in one massive ride on a 531 Mercian with a saddlebag so no slacking lads !

Might have to put a mtb on a rucksack type attachment, that’s a hike then downhill bike terrain.

It look likes you tried going up via the north face? That looks to be the Coire Leis valley in the background. For sure you would have had a job getting to the summit via this way carrying a bike. From the CIC hut you'd scramble over rocks up to the summit of Carn Mor Dearg, then a ridge walk around to Ben Nevis followed by roughly 200 metres of rock scrambling to the summit.
Biking up Ben Nevis is possibly imo although you have to go with the tourist route.
Just watched Mctrail rider doing these trails- including the drainage strips- leave it to the experts I think. Need to be a stuntman to attempt it.

The Ribble CGR bike, it's a beautiful bike....if I'm not mistaken, think I caught a glimpse, 0:36 , he's on the electric assist ;) Also, the big rear hub is sometimes the giveaway.

I did Ben Nevis a few days ago. You need crampons and an ice axe to get to the top due to snow and ice. There is no way it would be safe to take a bike up there during winter. Bad / dangerous idea this.

UA-camr McTrail Rider has biked to the CIC hut a couple of times. Might want to reach out to him if you're going to attempt this again for an expert opinion.

Theres a common saying in Scotland that goes a little like this:
News Report: "Mountain rescue was called out to two stranded people on Ben Nevis who sadly deceased on the mountain"
Locals: No doubt a couple of English people wearing gym shoes and a cagoule...
News Report "they were a couple from England who set out on the climb very ill equipped, just wearing gym shoes and a cagoule"
Road cycling shoes and cycling helmets would have caught us by surprise that's for sure.

most of it looks doable on a full sus bike and maybe for a prep video u could go to snowdonia where the trail up is actually rideable haha

It’s only safe to take a bike up… if you have geared for the winter conditions as a hiker… and then just take a bike

I would suggest an MTB. It's literally in the name.
Absolutely zero chance of riding more than 1% of Nevis. There is a section further up that is rideable but you would be carrying the bike mostly.
Snowdon is doable on a bike for the most of it on the miners track. Then a very steep scramble with it on your back for the last section. Perhaps stick to a mountain like pen y fan that is actually rideable
Would have thought that Llanberis Path was the only one that you could get to the summit without a significant amount of hike-a-bike, and on that steep section of Miners Track I would not fancy carrying a bike! Lugging a rucksack up or down there is sketchy enough.
